Grateful for Fall – A Bright and Bold Pumpkin Patch Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Pumpkin Patch Card, Fall Cardmaking, Honey Bee Stamps, Falloween Release, Ink Blending, Die Cutting, Handmade Cards, Autumn Crafting, Thankful Card, Dimensional Cards, Sweet & Spooky Pearl Stickers, Blessings of Fall Stamps, Mini Messages Fall Sentiments, Bold Background Pumpkin Patch Dies, Foam Adhesive Techniques, Inkon3

Hello, crafty friends! I’m excited to share this vibrant fall-themed card featuring the new Falloween Release from Honey Bee Stamps. Fall is such a wonderful time to create heartfelt, seasonal cards, and this project brings all those cozy autumn vibes to life. Using a variety of dies, stamps, and embellishments, I had so much fun crafting this colorful pumpkin patch scene. Let’s dive into the details!

CARD RECIPE
Foam - Foam adhesive to elevate the background
Inks:
Pumpkin Patch Focus
The star of the card is the gorgeous Bold Background: Pumpkin Patch Dies. These detailed pumpkins and vines are perfect for creating a layered, dimensional scene. I die-cut the entire background from white cardstock and used Inkon3 inks to blend vibrant colors onto the pumpkins and leaves. The inks blended beautifully, creating a gradient effect from soft yellows to deep pinks and greens, giving the pumpkins a lively, almost glowing appearance. The only solid color cardstock used was brown for the pumpkin tops and the sentiment.

Adding Dimension
To give the background some extra depth, I used foam adhesive to pop up the die-cut pieces. This small touch really makes the design stand out and gives the card a more interactive feel.

Sentiments to Celebrate Gratitude
For the sentiment, I wanted to emphasize the theme of thankfulness. The Blessings of Fall Stamps provided the perfect phrase: “There is Always Something to Be Thankful For.” I white heat-embossed the sentiment on a dark brown banner, which pops against the colorful background.

On the inside, I kept the message simple with the Mini Messages: Fall Sentiments Stamps, using “Grateful for You” for a heartfelt touch.

Final Embellishments
To finish off the card, I added a few Sweet & Spooky Pearl Stickers in coordinating shades. The pearls add a hint of sparkle and texture, pulling the whole design together without taking away from the colorful pumpkin patch.

I absolutely love how this card turned out! The bright, cheerful colors and the focus on gratitude make it perfect for sending fall-themed well wishes. Honey Bee Stamps’ Falloween Release has so many versatile products that allow you to create both spooky and sweet projects, and this pumpkin patch card is the perfect way to showcase them.

I hope you’re feeling inspired to create your own fall-themed cards. Don’t forget to have fun with blending inks and adding dimension with foam adhesives—it really takes your cardmaking to the next level.

Thank you for stopping by and until next time... Happy Crafting!

Reindeer Games: Crafting a Fun and Festive Christmas Card | Picket Fence Studios

Picket Fence Studios, Reindeer at Play, Christmas card, card making, holiday crafting, Instagram hop, stamping techniques, copic coloring, Paper Glaze, die-cutting, A2 Simple Plaid Cover Plate, handmade cards, Arctic Fox Paper Glaze, crafting tips, holiday card ideas, cardmaking blog, September Release

Today, I'm excited to share a festive and playful card featuring products from the new September Release from Picket Fence Studios! This card is part of an Instagram hop, and one lucky winner will be randomly selected from the entire hop to win a $50 Gift Card, so make sure to join me on my Instagram account for a chance to win. This card was so much fun to create, using a blend of adorable stamps, dies, and some shimmer to bring it all together. Let’s dive into the details!

CARD RECIPE

Reindeer and Sentiment - Reindeer at Play Stamp and Die Set

Background - A2 Simple Plaid Cover Plate Die

Frame - A2 Saying Hello Cover Plate Die (older release)

Snow - Arctic Fox Paper Glaze

Embellishments - North Pole Gem Mix, Oh What Fun Sequin Mix

Ink - PFS Black Hybrid Ink Pad

Blue Sky - Life Changing Blender Brushes

Misti Insert - Paper Inking Palette - 5x6

Please note direct links for new products will be updated once post goes live.

Card Design Breakdown

For this card, the star of the show is the Reindeer at Play Stamp and Die Set. These little reindeer images are filled with personality and bring so much whimsy to a holiday card. I colored each of the images with Copic markers, giving them bright scarves and rosy cheeks to match their playful expressions. To make Rudolph stand out, I added a red gem from the North Pole Gem Mix to his nose for that iconic holiday sparkle!

The background features the A2 Simple Plaid Cover Plate Die, adding a clean and subtle texture behind the reindeer. I love the classic plaid design because it provides the perfect backdrop without taking away from the focal images. To frame everything, I used the A2 Saying Hello Cover Plate Die, which is an older product but still one of my favorites for creating defined sections on a card front.

Tip for Quick and Easy Stamping

One of my favorite time-saving tricks when working with multiple images is to stamp them all at once. Rather than removing each stamp from the carrier sheet, I placed the entire set face down in my MISTI tool, keeping them on the carrier sheet. I secured them using the PFS Paper Inking Palette. Then, I positioned my cardstock over the stamps and taped it to the MISTI door. This allowed me to ink up and stamp all the images in one go using the PFS Black Hybrid Ink Pad.

Once the images were stamped, I left the paper secured to the MISTI door while I colored them with Copic markers. After all the coloring was done, I restamped the images to get a clean, crisp black outline, which really makes them pop. Then, I die-cut the images with the coordinating die set.

Fun Snow Details with Paper Glaze

To create a wintery scene, I wanted to add some snow underneath the reindeer. I mixed a little Arctic Fox Paper Glaze in a small plastic baggy and piped on some snow mounds for dimension. While the glaze was still wet, I sprinkled a bit of fine glitter on top for an extra frosty look. It’s such a simple touch but adds so much depth and sparkle to the card!

Final Touches

For the sleigh, I couldn’t resist adding more festive details! The Oh What Fun Sequin Mix includes some adorable Christmas pinwheels, which I placed in the sleigh to give it a cheerful and festive look. These little touches help bring everything together, adding pops of color and shine that elevate the overall design.

And there you have it—a playful, sparkly Christmas card that’s sure to bring joy to whoever receives it! I hope this project inspires you to dive into your holiday card-making. Let me know in the comments below if you have any questions!

Googly Eye Ghost Cards | Picket Fence Studios

Halloween Cards,Picket Fence Studios,Googly Eyes,Handmade Cards,Paper Crafting,Interactive Cards,Fun Card Ideas,Crafting Tips,DIY Cards,Ghosts,

Hello my friends!

Today's cards are part of the Picket Fence Studios August Release and Instagram Hop. So make sure to join me on Instagram for a chance to win some amazing prizes! Adding googly eyes to critters on cards gives characters an instant personality, making them more lively and expressive. They also add a touch of humor and whimsy, making your cards more playful and fun for the recipient.

CARD RECIPE #1

Tip: If your glaze/paste has lost moisture from not being used in a while, remove the needed amount from the container, add water, and mix well to reactivate it. I like to transfer the glaze into a plastic shot cup for mixing. Add small amounts of water at a time until you achieve the desired consistency.

To add dimension to the sentiment, I die-cut the words three times, glued, and stacked them before applying the sparkly glaze layer.

I used one of the Fabulous Foiling Festive Halloween A2 Card Fronts on the inside of the card. This should leave enough room to add a personalized message.

AlexSyberiaDesign May Digi Stamp Release Blog Hop + Giveaway | Kokeshi Doll Friendship Cards

AlexSyberiaDesign May Digi Stamp Release Blog Hop + Giveaway | Kokeshi Doll Friendship Cards

Hello Friends!

Welcome to Alex Syberia Design May Release Blog Hop and Giveaway. I will have all those details at the end of this post. I am in love with these Kokeshi dolls from Alex's release and had so much fun creating these two colorful Kokeshi Doll Friendship Cards.

CARD DETAILS

For my first card, I combined the KOKESHI DOLL FUMIKO and the FULL BLOOM digital stamps. I used Paint 3D to manipulate and layer the designs, there are various programs out there and tutorials on how to use digital stamps so I will not explain that process.

I then printed the images out onto Neenah Solar White 80lbs paper and colored the images in using Copic markers.

Next, I trimmed the panel and added it to a black cardstock piece cut to fit an A2 card base.

I then stamped a sentiment from Studio Katia's BLOOMING BUNCH stamp set and added some BLOSSOM SPARKLE CRYSTALS. To finish this card off I added some white gel pen detailing and then some glossy accents to add more dimension and shine.

This next card was printed and colored the same way as the previous card. This time using the KOKESHI DOL MITSUKI and again the FULL BLOOM digital stamps.

This time I trimmed the panel a little more to create a larger border around the panel.

The stamp I used here comes from the YOU GOT THIS stamp set from Simon Says Stamp that I curved along the body of the KOKESHI DOL MITSUKI digital stamp.

To finish up this card, I added some GOLD SPARKLE CRYSTALS and once again used white gel pen detailing and glossy accents to add more dimension and shine.

The Ton's 4th Anniversary Blog Hop | Day 3

Hello Crafty friends! Today I am uber excited to be Guest Designing for Day 3 of The Ton's 4th Anniversary Blog Hop. This time Effie has introduced 9 new designs for this release. There are some free gifts with purchase promotions ongoing. Head over to The Ton Stamps' blog for more details.

For my projects, I have created two super cute cards to showcase a few of the new sets from this release. Make sure you read the end of the post to check out the Giveaway details and where to get started on the Hop! Here is my first card featuring the Coming Up Peonies Stamp set.

CARD DETAILS
To start, I stamped out the large peony stamp onto watercolor paper using a watermark ink and then heat set it with white embossing powder. I then used Mijello Mission Gold watercolors to loosely watercolor the flowers in the finished off by adding some tine color splashes.

Next, I die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die and then glued it onto an A2 card base. I then stamped out the sentiment onto a piece of paper that I had die cut with the same rectangle die to add the stitching to the ends. The Hello, Fabulous stamp comes from the Power Pumps set that I will be sharing in the next card. I then just added some sequins to the card front and finished off the center of the large flower with Stickles glitter and some tiny yellow Nuvo Crystal drops.

Now, what girl would love a pair of these Power Pumps?!?😍 Of course, I had to make them look like Christian Louboutin Patent Glossy Pumps. If I didn't have terrible nurse feet I would love a pair of these LOL... But sadly I have to wear orthotics, so I'll stick to the Stamped kind. It's a lot safer for my health and for my wallet!

To make this card, I began by stamping out the jewels onto a piece of Neenah cardstock using a couple of the grey color inks from the Pewter Mini sets to create the patterned background. I then stamped out the pumps on another piece of paper starting with the grey stamped ink pieces on the pumps. I then used Black Versafine Onyx Ink to add the black layer since I wanted to give these heels a high gloss finish and heat set them with clear embossing powder. Rather than stamping out the red of the sole I used the R46 Copic marker. I then fussy cut the pumps leaving a white edge around the shoes.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Power Pumps set onto a strip of white cardstock. I then glued it onto a red strip that I trimmed to the size of the background panel and glued that onto an A2 size black card base.  I then popped the pumps up with foam tape and glued them in place. For an added touch of Bling, I glued on some bows to the heels and added some jewels to the centers. I also finished off the card with some crystals and added glossy accents to the larger jewels on the stamped background. I think this card could be used for so many occasions. I absolutely love how this card turned out and want to make some more for my girlfriends!
