Hello friends, and Happy New Year! 🎉

If you’re like me, you can never have too many birthday cards in your stash. To kick off the year creatively, I decided to fix that by making some Easy DIY Birthday Cards with Minimal Supplies. These cards are not only vibrant and cheerful but also super simple to create!

For today’s projects, I’m showcasing Bibi Cameron's new Intense Liquid Colors, Sparkle Bases, and Stackable Stamps. These tools made the process a breeze! You can check out my IG Reel HERE to see how these colorful creations came together.

CARD RECIPE

Basic Supplies:
Here are some close-ups of the cards I made. Don’t mind the little sequin that slid off the first candle—it’s fixed now, haha! Each card is bursting with bright, happy colors and minimal fuss. Perfect for any birthday celebration.

Tips & Tricks
  1. Layering with Sparkle: The Sparkle Base adds a subtle shimmer that brings the designs to life. Perfect for birthday celebrations!
  2. Mix & Match Stamps: The stackable stamp sets are incredibly versatile. Use them to customize each card with unique sentiments. I forgot to take a photo of the back with the personalized stamp and logo. Make sure to watch the video for that!
  3. Frame It Up: Adding a black cardstock frame helps make the colors pop against the white base.

Happy BEE Day Release Blog Hop | Day 1

Rainbow Wishes card for Happy BEE Day Release Blog Hop Day 1 by ilovedoingallthingscrafty.com

Happy Fri-YAY my Crafty Peeps and welcome to Day 1 of the Honey Bee Stamps 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop!

Today I have another rainbowlicious card to share featuring some of my favorite new goodies from this release.

CARD DETAILS
To begin, I blended tumbled glass distress oxide ink onto a piece of Bristol paper leaving white space around the top left side of the panel where eventually the sun would go. Once the ink was dry I die cut the paper using the largest SCALLOP A2 CARD FRAME. I then applied Golden Crystal Glimmer paste over the new RADIANT BACKGROUND Stencil to add the sun rays onto the background and set it aside to dry while I die cut the rest of the pieces.

The pieces I used on the card front all come from the RAINBOW WISHES Honey Cut set. I die cut them all out of white heavyweight cardstock and then used Copic markers to color in the rainbow arches and also die cut the cloud inserts using white felt. To the circle die cut pieces for the sun I also added the same gold glimmer paste to the top layer.

Before gluing down the rainbow and the clouds to the card front, I stamped out the "sending you" sentiment from the RAINBOW WISHES stamp set in the bottom right corner. Then just glued down the pieces using foam tape to add dimension.

To the inside of the card, I also stamped this fun sentiment from the RAINBOW WISHES stamp set and then just used the same Copic colors I used on the front of the card to color in the rainbow.
