Hello, dear friends, and welcome to a brand new week filled with holiday cheer!

Are you already in the festive spirit, decorating your home for Christmas? I couldn't resist the temptation and decided to transform my space into a winter wonderland last weekend – and now, I simply can't contain my excitement for Christmas! 😆

Today, I'm delighted to showcase a beautiful Christmas card that incorporates some of the delightful products from the latest Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Wishes Release. Let's take a closer look!

CARD RECIPE

Dies - Lovely Layers: Candy Cane Dies

Pattern Paper - Pinstripes & Polka Dots Holiday Pad

Embossing Folder - Snowy Pines - 3D Embossing Folder

Sentiment - Foil Script: Holiday Hot Foil Plate and Honey Cuts

Pearls - Holiday Wishes Pearls

To create the Candy Cane Heart, I inverted one of the candy canes, using the "opposite side" of the die-cut to fashion a captivating mirror image. I then glued the ends together in the shape of a heart. For a touch of added radiance, I brought out my glitter gel pen and adorned the candy canes with extra stripes, adding a sparkle that truly elevates the design.

The sentiment was done by using the Hot Foil System and the Speckled Prism Glimmer Hot Foil Roll.

But the magic doesn't stop there. Elevate your card with those extra details that make all the difference. With a white gel pen, I meticulously added snow, achieving a frosty, winter feel. Blending ink on the leaves added depth and dimension to the design, while Glossy Accents on the berries, topped with Prisma sparkle, bestowed a captivating brilliance. These small but essential embellishments are the secret to transforming an ordinary card into an extraordinary work of art.

Gingerbread House Treat Box and Card | Pixie Dust Designs

Today I am excited to be guesting for Pixi Dust Designs. They just had their Christmas Release and it is packed with so much cuteness 😍 So let me show you the inspiration projects I created.

PROJECT RECIPE

Christmas Details - Gingerbread House Add-On Die Set

This darling Gingerbread House Treat Box is perfect for gifting a small treat to someone special this season. 

I love all the sparkles and all the embellishments.  I think all the extra touches like using glitter paper, gel pen details, and adding gem and pearl stickers take this project to another level!

As you can see there is a theme here. Can you tell I love gingerbread 😋

CARD RECIPE

Stamps - Gingy Dress-Up Stamp Set

Coordinating Dies - Gingy Dress Up Pixi Cuts

For the background, I stamped out the gingerbread house and candy canes and heat-set them using white ink and embossing powder. Next, I masked off the area at the top and ink blended the sky. To it, I then added water splatters followed by white splatters for stars. Once dry I added glossy accents to some of the stamped areas to make them shine. 

Next, I added a small strip of white glitter paper for snow. Popped up the stamped Gingy Dressed Up Cutties with foam, and finished the card with the sentiment.

Welcome back, it is Day 6 and the final Day of the Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Wishes Release Inspiration Week and I am obsessed with today's card. It definitely is one of my favorites that I have made for this release so far.

To create the Shaped card, I die-cut the largest panel of the Front Porch Dies, created a hinge at the top, and then glued the pieces together. The inner panel does have embossed areas so to add a flat surface for writing I just added a rectangle panel to fit. Once the base is put together then it's a matter of getting creative by adding all the Front Porch Holiday Add-On Dies.

If you have been following my blog post all week, Thank you! If not make sure to look back through all the previous posts that I have shared for more inspiration featuring the Holiday Wishes Release from Honey Bee Stamps.

I am a huge fan of the Lovely Layers Collection and this new Lovely Layers Amaryllis is absolutely gorgeous! I loved it so much that I needed a larger card base to show them off. Normally I use an A2 card size this one is an A7 size (5x7).

Besides the sentiment, the entire card is paper pieced together from all the die cuts. If you love die-cutting these Lovely Layers Sets are amazing. To add some shadow and detailing I used copic markers. I had also used gel pen highlights on the flowers but they looked silly,  so I colored over them with a matching color, which still gives the illusion of a highlight. To add dimension, foam is your friend! Obviously, when you are using this much foam to add dimension it becomes difficult to mail. This card would definitely be one I hand-delivered.

Even though this set works perfectly with the Gift Card Box, I thought it would be fun to use it to make a shaker card.

For this background, I began by ink-blending the blue cardstock panel with Black Soot distress oxide ink and then Embossed the Panel using the SnowFlakes 3D Embossing Folder. I then used the Bee Creative Brilliant White Pigment Ink pad and lightly rubbed the embossed areas of the paper. 

I hope you love this Warm Winter Wishes Snow Flake Card as much as I do. If you are looking to make some quick and easy cards for mass production this Holiday season, this one would definitely fit that category!

For this background, I used the layering  Snowflakes Background Stencils with embossing paste. Make sure you allow for drying before moving on to the second layer. Such a pretty background... Love this Stencil set!!!

To make the northern light background, I first blended out a dark night sky. For the lights, I rubbed the corner of various distress oxide inks and allowed them to dry. Next, I added white pigment ink. I then used my finger to blend the colors in a vertical motion and allowed the background to dry before die-cutting using the star cover plate. I then added more white splatters to finish it off.

Jingle Jewel Cards | Crafty Meraki #Merakicraftober

Hello friends!

Today I am celebrating Crafty Meraki's #merakicraftober Christmas Extravaganza over on Instagram where I feature the process of making these cards. Make sure to click this link 👉HERE to watch and enter the HOP and Giveaway!

CARD RECIPE

• To start, first I die cut the Jingle Jewels EAP (Effortless Artistry Paper) using the coordinating Jingle Jewels Para-Dies.
• Next, I hot-foiled a ton of sentiments using the Gilded Holiday Greetings Foil Plate in a few foil colors and then used the Gilded Holiday Greetings Dies to cut them out. 
• I then used the Under the Mistletoe Meraki Shimmer to do some dry embossing on the background papers, and then ink blended the edges of the panels with a coordinating ink color.
• Once all the pieces are done all you need to do is assemble each card. First I arranged the Jingle Jewels on the the front of the panel and then used Press and Seal to pick them up and flip them over. For each ornament, I used gilded thread and added it to the top using a little piece of tape. 
• Add glue or foam to the back of the ornaments and stick them onto the front panel. 
• Straighten and secure the gilded thread behind the panel with tape, sandwiching them between the card front panel and the card base.
• Add your Gilded Holiday Greetings to the front of the card and finish by adding Meraki Sparkle Gold for some sparkle.

As you can see this card was done the same way, only using different colors.

If you love mass-producing and sending out Christmas cards but don't have time to spend coloring them all, these Effortless Artistry Papers (EAPs) are the way to go! Crafty Meraki has so many variations of them now you can skip the card-making steps you like doing the least.

For this last card, I just turned it into a shaker card using some plastic packaging and glued the Jingle Jewels on the front of the plastic panel.

I think this one may be my favorite!
