If you are curious about how this shaker was assembled, click
HERE for a video I made a while ago. To create the background there was a lot of paper piecing happening here. I die cut the
Party Balloons Mini Slimline Meraki Para-dies 3 times, one white layer and two black layers. For the white layer, I ink blended all the balloon colors using distress oxide inks. I then sandwiched the white layer between the two black ones. For the top black layer, I snipped the inside out just using the black frame.
For the next two cards, I kept them super simple and just focused on the flowers. I sometimes like to keep the sentiments off the card until I am ready to send it to someone. This way they are more versatile. Both finished cards are 5X7s.
To create this first one I used masking tape to block off a frame, and then added the ink blended grass and sky. Next, I die cut and pieced together the June Meraki Fora Para-Dies.
This next card features the Madison Meraki Flora Para-Dies. The fun part about these dies is the cut lines in the flowers. They allow you to easily do some masking for ink blending, which is awesome if you want to use more than one color. I just slipped post-it paper in the cut lines and then blended.
You can see on the left flower my masking wasn't perfect, but I learned from my mistakes when I blended the one on the right.
To finish up this card I added some Meraki Sparkle Prismatic Blue Crystals, even though they are blue they reflect a lot of purples.
