Sending Fall Hugs Pumpkin Patch Card | Ink On 3

Hello Friends!

Today I am sharing the cutest Fall Card for Ink On 3. I'm not sure what the weather is like in your part of the world, but here in Edmonton it definitely feels like Fall has arrived. The colors are changing, the leaves are falling and the air is crisp.  Nevertheless, it is my favorite season so I will try to enjoy it while it lasts.

  CARD DETAILS

Here's how today's card was made:

• Using BLACKOUT INK, stamp out the pumpkin images from the PUMPKIN FRIENDS and the PUMPKIN PATCH stamp sets.
• Color images in (I used Copic Markers and Prisma Color Pencils).
• Fussy cut the PUMPKIN FRIENDS.
• Use the COORDINATING PUMPKIN PATCH die to create a partial die cut (cut along the top of the pumpkin patch only).

• Color any white spaces using a black Copic marker.
• For the background. Use a circle mask/stencil to create a moon for the sunset.
• Blend out the colors for the sunset sky (I used ATELIER MY PURPLE JAM,  ATELIER MARILYN RED, and ATELIER BEE STING YELLOW) Blend the same colors over the moon with light pressure.
• Stamp out the sentiment. Sending from HEY GORGEOUS, Fall from BUNNY HUGS, and Hugs from FOX AND BUNNY HUGS.
• Glue the colored PUMPKIN PATCH images onto the background panel. Trim panel. Glue onto the card base.

• Add the fussy cut PUMPKIN FRIENDS images onto the card front using foam tape.
• Add white gel pen details to highlight the images.
• Use LIQUID PIXIE DUST to add sparkle to the image (I used it only on the red flowers).

Today is the first day of back to school for these two kiddos. They were super excited to go and see all their friends and teachers again. I, on the other hand, have mixed feelings about their return to school. I pray for a safe return for all the students and teachers during this crazy pandemic we are living through.

Had to share Tomás' expression here. He was saying "Really Mom! I'm so thankful I only have to do this one more year." (Little does he know that I plan on taking these pictures even when they go to University, lol!)

Maia is super excited about being a "Grade 9'er", the highest grade in the school where she's been at since Pre-School.

Christmas Blessings Wreath Card | Simon Says STAMPtember | Etched Eucalyptus Wreath

CARD DETAILS

Well, I guess this will be my first official Christmas card of the year. I was resisting making one as long as possible as I didn't want to be reminded of our long cold winters, so I'm praying for a short one, lol!

My card features the new ETCHED EUCALYPTUS WREATH Die from the STAMPtember release.

Here's how this card was made:

• Die-cut ETCHED EUCALYPTUS WREATH Die using Silver Glitter and Green Cardstock. Glue both together, overlapping different areas.
• Glue wreath onto a white cardstock piece that has been die-cut using a frame from the STITCHED RECTANGLES Die Set.
• Use foam tape to mount onto a red cardstock A2 sized panel that has been glued onto the card base.

• Die-cut the CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS DIES three times using Black cardstock. Stack and glue together.
• Position Die Sentiments on the card front, centered on the wreath and glue.

• Finish embellishing the card with pearl details.

Well, I hope you were inspired by this simple design of mine today. I LOVE how my first Christmas card of the year turned out!
