Just Breathe Encouragement Card | Penguin Palace & Ink On 3 Collaboration

Hello again, 

I am back with another card I created as part of a collaboration Hop between Inkon3 and Penguin Palace Stamps which is happening over on👉 Instagram. We teamed up to celebrate the Penguin Palace's 3rd Anniversary! Here is how this card came together.

• Stamp the Legend of The Koi fish first using the outline stamp with Blackout Ink onto Bristol Paper.
• Next line up the detail stamp layer over the fish you just stamped out, this time use Fadeout Ink. 
• Watercolor in the images by using  Sweet Petunia, Bee Sting Yellow, and Peacock Blue Atelier Inks. Overlap the colors to create the rainbow blend.
• To add sparkle I added a layer of Liquid Pixie Dust over the painted layer.
• I then used the coordinating Legend of the Koi - Penguin Perfect Cuts to die cut the fish.
• On another piece of white cardstock, I used the same inks I used above to watercolor but this time to ink blend and create a rainbow area. 
• Stamp the Breathe Stamp from the Words From The Heart (Chapter 1) stamp set over the rainbow blended spot using Blackout Ink.
• Die-cut the Breathe using the Words From The Heart Coordinating Cuts.
• Glue the Breathe sentiment to the card front.
• Pop the fish in place using foam tape. For an added layer of thickness, I glued the fish onto another die-cut piece.
• Finish the card by adding a few bubble embellishments.

Hope this Just Breathe Encouragement Card inspired you today and reminds you that it is ok to take a break, stop, relax, do nothing and just Breathe. Especially with all that is going on in the world right now, it's OK! People are more understanding than you realize because after all we all need and deserve a break from time to time😉

Chinese New Year Galaxy Card - Penguin Palace & Ink On 3 Collaboration

Hello friends,

Today's card is part of a collaboration Hop between Inkon3 and Penguin Palace Stamps which is happening over on👉 Instagram. Here is how this card came together.

• Ink blend the background using Peacock Blue Atelier Ink, & Paint it Black Atelier Ink. To make the blending easier start with a blue cardstock panel.
• Using the Stencils 360°™ Starter Kit with the Starry Spiral Stencils 360°™ I used Shark Tooth White Atelier Ink to add the blended stars in the background. 
• Add splatters using Shark Tooth White Atelier Re-Inker diluted with a little water.
• Once the panel is completely dry, use an antistatic powder bag to cover the surface and prep it for heat embossing.
• Stamp out the sentiments from the Legend of The Koi stamp set using Juicy Ink.
• Then use Gold Rush Emb. Powder to heat set the sentiment.

• Finish the card by adding star embellishments. I used Glow in the dark Mini Stars and Iridescent Stars for extra detail and fun!

Hope you got some inspiration from today's Chinese New Year Galaxy Card. It makes me think of one of my best friends, who was Chinese that I lost earlier this year to Cancer. Actually, now that I think about it, it was 6 months to the day today 😭 She was the one person I would always wish Happy Chinese New Year too. I really miss her 💙 but I know she is up in the sky (somewhere in the Galaxy maybe) and will receive my message!

I Miss You A Lotus Card | Ink On 3

Hello my friends, hope you are all doing well and staying safe.

Today's card is part of an Instagram Hop for Inkon3 to celebrate the release of their mini cube size inks. I love the regular size pads but these would be way easier to travel with. Join me over on Instagram if you want to take part in the hop and enter the giveaway!

If you like no-line coloring you must try the Fadeout Ink and its magical properties. It really just takes on the color of media you choose, making it so easy to color. Once my images were colored in and dry, I fussy cut the pieces out and added them to the sparkly background that I had done using the Curls Stencil.

For the sentiment I stamped the I miss you using Blackout Ink onto a piece of vellum that I then trimmed.

I wish you could see this card in person, pictures just don't do it justice... it is so sparkly! I will share a video clip of it over on Instagram if you want to take a peek.

Sweet Petunia Friendship Cards | Ink On 3 and Sweet Petunia IG Hop

Hello, my friends, 

Today's Sweet Petunia Friendship Cards are part of an Ink On 3 and Sweet Petunia Instagram Hop and I hope you can join me over on →Instagram as you can win some goodies from either company.

By the way, have you seen the new Mini Misti?! Just when you think it could get any better it does. Now the Mini is laser etched, it has rounded corners, a pull tab, and the hinges are metal. This is the Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented.  

CARD RECIPE#1

• Figure out the placement of your stamps and place the SWEET PETUNIA stamp into the Mini Misti and use BLACKOUT INK to stamp the design.
• Use the SWEET PETUNIA STENCIL to blend out each layer of rainbow colors onto the flowers. (Atelier Inks used - SWEET PETUNIA, BEE STING YELLOW, GODDESS GREEN, PEACOCK BLUE, and MY PURPLE JAM.
• To the centers of the flowers use LIQUID PIXIE DUST to add some sparkle.

• Blend out the letters to spell HELLO using the ALPHABET SOUP Stencil and BLACKOUT INK.

• Stamp out the sentiment using BLACKOUT INK and the MISTI to get a great impression.

• Finish with your favorite embellishments.

CARD RECIPE#2

• Use the SWEET PETUNIA STENCIL to blend out the flowers. Atelier colors used - GODDESS GREEN, PEACOCK BLUE, and MY PURPLE JAM.
• To the centers, I added Ballroom Blue Glitter Accents.

• Stamp out the sentiment using the MISTI and BLACKOUT INK.
• Trim the panel and add it to the card base. 
• Finish with coordinating colored pearls.
