You're So EGGstra Easter Bunny Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Do you have an Extra/Eggstra friend or person in your life? You know the over the top and a little dramatic one. I have a few and this card was made with them in mind, LOL! 

I think a card like this would absolutely make their day this Easter.

 

CARD RECIPE

• Stamp out the Bunny, Chick, and flower images from the new EASTER BUDDIES set. (Blackout ink used on Neenah cardstock)
• Color images using Copic markers.
• Die-cut images using coordinating EASTER BUDDIES DIES.

• Die-cut the house and the hay pieces for the CHICKEN COOP in the desired color of cardstock. 
• Add details using Copic markers.
• Using the smallest pieces from the WOOD FRAME BUILDER DIES, glue pieces onto the roofline of the chicken coop. Ink edges first.
• Die-cut the ITTY BITTY EGG DIES (I used silver glitter cardstock and then added color using Copic markers.)

• Die-cut the largest frame from the DOUBLE STITCHED SQUARE DIES.
• Use the GRASSY HILLS BORDER STENCILS to blend out the grass and the OUTDOOR SCENE BUILDER STENCILS to blend out the clouds.
• Assemble and glue down all the elements to create the scene onto the background panel. 
• Glue panel onto the pattern paper from the PLAYFUL PASTELS PAPER PAD cut to 5.5x5.5 inches.
• Attach onto a Square 5.5x5.5 inch Card Base.  
• Stamp and heat emboss onto black card cardstock the You're so Eggstra sentiment from the EGGCELENT SENTIMENTS. Die-cut with coordinating Die. 
• Add sentiment to the card front.
• Embellish with PLAYFUL PASTELS GEM STICKERS, white gel detail, glossy accents, and liquid pixie dust.

• Finish the inside of the card with an Easter sentiment that comes from the HOPPY EASTER stamp set.
• Send the card to your very Eggstra friend!

Shine Bright Rainbow Cards | Spellbinders GOM-MAR21

Wow, can you believe it is March 1st already?! Dear time, please slow down... I have lots of crafting I want to do😆

With a new month comes the new Spellbinder Club Kits and today I will be sharing what I made using the Let Your Sentiments Shine Brighter Plates which is March's 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month.

CARD RECIPE#1

• Set up Hot Foil System.
• Foil Sentiment using SKYBRIGHT Glimmer Foil and running it through the PLATINUM 6 DIE CUTTING PLATFORM.
• Die-cut the sentiment panel using a rectangle frame from the RECTANGLE ETCHED DIES.

• Use the rainbow die from an older GOM set HAVE A COLORFUL DAY to die cut 4 colors of cardstock and 4 white rainbows.
• Mix up the rainbow colors and set them into the white frames. (Reserve one rainbow for the final card)
• Glue 3 of the rainbows onto a piece of black cardstock that has been die-cut using the second largest rectangle frame from the RECTANGLE ETCHED DIES. To stretch the rainbow pattern cut them up. 
• To the front panel of the card base, use the pierced rectangle die to add the dotted details along the edge.
• Assemble card.
• Embellish. (See links below for all supplies used)

CARD RECIPE#2

• On the card front of the card base, foil the sentiment from the Let Your Sentiments Shine Brighter Plates using ROSE GOLD Glimmer Foil and running it through the PLATINUM 6 DIE CUTTING PLATFORM.
• Using the leftover die-cut rainbows from the previous card piece together the colored rainbow frames with the white arches.

• Glue the rainbows to the bottom of the card panel.
• Trim off any pieces that hang over the edge.

CARD RECIPE#3

• Foil the sentiment from the Let Your Sentiments Shine Brighter Plates using ROSE GOLD Glimmer Foil and running it through the PLATINUM 6 DIE CUTTING PLATFORM.
• Die-cut the sentiment using a frame from the RECTANGLE ETCHED DIES.

• Using the reserved rainbow from the first card, die-cut a couple of clouds from the HAVE A COLORFUL DAY GOM set and glue them to the ends of the rainbow.
• Use foam tape to pop rainbow up and attach to the sentiment panel.
• Glue to the card base.
• Embellish.
