Thinking of You Flora Stenciled Card | Ink On 3

Hello, my friends!
Today I have a super simple card to share with you featuring the new FLORA Stencil from Ink On 3's April Release. I love that they are coming out with stencils as ink blending is so popular right now and fun to do. Plus they pair perfectly with the Atelier Inks.

CARD DETAILS

To begin, I masked off the leaf areas of the image and then began ink blending. I used PEACOCK BLUE on the outer petals and then ATELIER MY PURPLE JAM ink on the inside petals of the flowers.

I then removed the masks and blended the ATELIER GODDESS GREEN ink on the leaves.

Once the ink was completely dry I stamped out the sentiment from the WATER LILY stamp set using JUICY INK and then heat set it using BLACK AS NIGHT EMB. P.

To embellish the card I added some green and blue pearls, trimmed the card panel, and popped it up using foam tape onto the card base.

Graduation Cards | Simon Says Stamp | Sunny Days Ahead Release

Yay, Simon Says Stamp is Shipping Again! So happy to hear because I need to do some shopping 😁

My cards today feature the new GRAD HAT DIES from the SUNNY DAYS AHEAD Release. These were all pretty quick and simple to make and will be perfect to send to a 2020 Graduate that will need some extra love this year.

CARD DETAILS

For this first card, I cut out the GRAD HATS using only the top layer of the die using various colors of cardstock to create a rainbow of hats. I then pieced and glued them together. 

To the middle of the square card, I stamped out the "Heck Yeah" from the CZ Design TABBED SENTIMENTS stamp set.

I then arranged the hats in a circle pattern, making them as equally distanced as possible and then popped them in place using foam tape.

To embellish and finish the card I added some PRISM GEM stickers and just glued it to a black square 5-inch card panel.

For this next card, I used the GRAD HAT DIES again, cutting both layers using black cardstock. I did stack a couple of the top layers together to create dimension. For the tassel, I used a silver foil cardstock and then just added a black gem to the center of the hat and tassel.

Next, I stamped the sentiments onto the card panel using stamps from the CZ DESIGN GREAT THINGS stamp set. Before gluing the hat in place, I die cut the panel using a frame from the STITCHED RECTANGLES Dies.

I then popped the panel up with foam tape and adhered it to grey cardstock that I had glued onto an A2 sized card base.

The GRAD HAT on this last card was done the same way as the previous card only using white on the tassel and a clear stone on the center of the cap.

I then just die cut the top card piece of cardstock using the BEST DAY EVER DIE and used the negative piece. Behind it, I glued the negative die cut pieces onto a piece of back cardstock that I then popped up using black foam tape. I then trimmed down the top panel leaving a black border and glued that onto the card base.

To finish the card I added some SILVER FEVER FUSION SEQUINS on the card front.

And that is pretty much how I created these simple graduation cards. I love how they turn out.

I'm sure this was not what any one of them ever imagined would be happening during their final year of school, but more then ever they need to be celebrated and get the recognition that they deserve. Have Sweet Day Bakery Scene Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Today I have a card to share with you that I had made a little while ago for the Spring 2020 Issue of Scrapbook and Cards Magazine. If you don't subscribe to it, no worries you can still see it online.

I thought it would be fun to create a Honey Bee Bakery Scene Card. I can almost smell those goodies in the window!  I am happy that most bakeries are still open during this pandemic (at least where I live), even if it is just for pick up. I think this card could be used for so many occasions... Mother's Day, Birthday, Thank You, Wedding Shower or just a friendship card.

CARD DETAILS

To begin I die cut the window from the COTTAGE WINDOW HONEY CUTS and used it to draw the window frames onto a card panel. I then stamped out the images from the TREAT SHOP ADD-ON stamp set in the frames and colored everything in using Copic markers. I also added a few more images that I had die cut out using the coordinating TREAT SHOP ADD-ON DIES to add some dimension to the and depth to the scene. To finish the inside of the window I added some glossy accents and shimmer to certain areas of the treats.

Next, I began to build the scene by using the window from the COTTAGE WINDOW | HONEY CUTS to die cut the brick paper from the HOME ESSENTIALS Paper Pad and just glued it to the panel. I then built the window frame by stacking and gluing 3 frames together and sandwiching an acetate piece cut to fit below the top frame. I then glued the window onto the card panel and embellished it with the Banners from the TREAT SHOP ADD-ON and some black gems from the RAW HONEY GEM STICKERS.

To create the awning, I die cut the roof piece from the TREAT SHOP ADD-ON DIES,  once out of black cardstock and twice using white cardstock. I trimmed off the 2 outer sections as this die was too wide for the A2 vertical card front. On one of the white die cuts, I colored sections using various pink and grey Copic markers. I then cut out each pleat and glued the sections back onto the other white layer I had cut out, alternating the colors. To the pink sections, I added a layer of liquid Pixie Dust.

I then added my sentiments onto the awning using all the layers from the SWEET DIES done in the same colors as the awning. To complete the greeting I added a couple of banners stamped using the HAPPY BIRTHDAY set that I heat set in white.

To finish off the card I had to add the name of the Bakery, so I combined stamps from the ANGEL POLICY and the TREAT SHOP ADD-ON sets to create the BANNER under the window. I did mask off the "stamps" from the "Honey Bee".
