Wagon Wheel Floral Arrangement Hello Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Here is the card I am featuring on the Hop. Isn't she pretty!?

For this card, I die-cut all the pieces and assembled them together. For the wheel, I used colored cardstock and for the flowers, I used white cardstock and ink blended each stem. I then arranged them and snipped a couple of the flowers apart to balance the bouquet. Since the center is the messiest part, I covered that up with a burlap bow. Below is the breakdown of all the pieces.

Rainbow Inspired Pumpkin Harvest Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Wise Owl Father's Day Card | Adventure Awaits Release | Honey Bee Stamps

Today kicks off the Adventure Awaits Honey Bee Stamps Inspiration Week, and I am showcasing this wise old owl - Lovely Layers Owl Dies! Perfect for the Dad or Grand Father that knows it all 😆 

If you're a nature enthusiast, you'll adore this release. This card was quite simple to create so I won't go into too much detail. Most products are new from this release. See the links below for all the supplies used.

Rainbow Scalloped Glimmer Shaker Cards | Spellbinders GOM February 2021

Wow, can you believe it is February already? You know what that means? Yes, the new Spellbinder Club Kits are now available!

My Rainbow Scalloped Glimmer Shaker Cards today feature the new February's Glimmer of the Month Kit called Scalloped Rectangle Glimmer Essentials with Sentiments. It includes 6 scallop frames and 3 sentiment plates for foiling.

CARD DETAILS

Let's start with the largest shaker. Like any other foiled card, these cards require a GLIMMER HOT FOIL SYSTEM, (so I won't go into the how-to foil as there are many tutorials out there).

The frame for this shaker was created by first foiling the largest Scalloped Frame from the Kit using the AURA Glimmer Foil onto an A2 size cardstock panel. I then used the largest two rectangle frames from the RECTANGLE ETCHED DIES to die cut it out. To the back of the frame, I glued the acetate to create the window for the shaker. Along the outer edge, I added foam tape and then set it aside to work on the background. (This process will be repeated for the other cards using different shaker window sizes).

The leafy designs come from an older Glimmer of the Month kit called Crimson Fall. I foiled the design on using the same AURA Glimmer Foil. I then used Distress Oxide Inks to blend out the rainbow colors.

Next, I added the sequins to the shaker window and sealed the shaker with the colorful rainbow background that was trimmed to the frame size. 

To finish off this card I then just added the foiled Thank You Sentiment to the center of the window.

For my second card, I foiled all 3 frames onto the bottom panel. Since this card was going to be using the Birthday Sentiment, I thought it would be fun to blend out a few colorful balloons. I used sticky notes to cut out and create some stencils and then used distress oxide inks to blend out the colors.

The shaker window was created the exact same way as the first card was only using smaller frames. I used the middle frame on the background as a guide for the window shaker placement.

For the sentiment, this time I foiled it onto vellum using the same AURA Glimmer Foil.

This third and final card turned out pretty cool. 

To make it, I foiled the same large frame twice, positioning the plates so that the frames were horizontal on the vertical card front. This then created the 4 horizontal lines across the card panel.

Once again the shaker window was made the same as the first one, only this time using the smallest frame. 

The Hello Sentiment was foiled once I had blended out the rainbow background and then used to close out the shaker window area. It was then glued in the center of the card front.

I honestly couldn't tell you which one of these 3 cards was my favorite because I love them all! I hope you did too and found some inspiration from them.

CAS Slimline Merry and Bright Holiday Card | Studio Katia

Hey Everyone!

You know what I love? Slimline cards and the amazing scenes you can create with all the extra real estate! You know what I hate? Taking photos of them especially for Instagram purposes because they don't fit nicely in the IG grid! Oh well, I guess it will be a love-hate relationship!

So enough venting, and let's get on with this fun rainbow inspired CAS Slimline Holiday Card.

CARD DETAILS

To begin, I die cut two of the Slimeline frames using the DOTTED SLIMLINE - SET 2, the scalloped one from white paper, and the larger one from a silver glitter paper.

I then placed the scalloped frame in the Misti and did some repeat stamping of these darling twig trees from the HAPPY SNOWMEN stamp set in rainbow colors using Distress Oxide Inks.

Next, I stamped out the greeting by combining a few sentiments from the HAPPY SNOWMEN and the CRAFTASTIC stamps sets.

To finish off this pretty Merry and Bright card, I added coordinating rainbow pearls along the trees. See links below for the complete list of colors used.

I really love how this colorful card turned out. Plus, the best part was how simple this card was to make!
