One In A Million Birthday Vellum Shaker | Spellbinders GOM-MAY21

Hello and Happy Monday to you all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

I am back today with a vellum shaker card featuring the Spot on Background & Sentiments that come in this Month's May Glimmer Hot Foil Kit from Spellbinders.

CARD RECIPE

• Set up Hot Foil System.
• Run the Spot plate from the GLIMMER HOT FOIL KIT through the PLATINUM 6 DIE CUTTING PLATFORM using and the POLISHED BRASS - Glimmer Foil. Repeat to fill the other side of the card panel. Set aside.

• Cut a piece of vellum approximately one inch larger than your dotted pattern panel on each side. 
• Blend out the rainbow colors onto the vellum panel. Allow for some drying time. 
• Die-cut the shaker bits using the dot dies included in the kit, reserve some for the card front.
• To avoid smearing the vellum flip the vellum piece so that the blended background will be the inside of the shaker pocket. Clip the corners of the vellum piece and fold down the sides of the vellum. (for a visual of a similar how-to video click HERE).
• Secure edges to the back of the dotted panel. Before gluing down the last side, add the shaker bits to the inside of the pocket.
• Glue the pocket to the card front.
• Add the foiled sentiment strips to the card front center and finish with the remaining gold die-cut dots.

Alternatively, foil the vellum piece so that the foiled dots can be more visible.
