Repeat Stamping Rainbow Inspired Birthday Card | Spellbinders FSJ Stamp of the Month | March 2020

Can you ever have enough Birthday cards? No, never, cause everyone keeps on getting older!!!

Today's card is brought to you by this month's Stamp of the Month Kit from Spellbinders/Fun Stampers Journey. This Sentiment Stack set is so versatile and perfect for so many other occasions other than birthdays.

CARD DETAILS

To begin I placed the happy and the Birthday Stamp in the Misti and then used different ink colors to stamp out the sentiment in rainbow order. I then used Copic markers to color the Birthday Block letters in an ombre style.

To finish off the card and to add a little more something, something, I added a cake that I die cut from the Birthday Animals Etched Dies and then stamped on one of the flowers from the Sentiment Stack set and colored it in with Copic markers.

Foiled Easter Egg Cards | Spellbinders March 2020 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month

Happy Monday Friends.

Can you believe we are already into March? 😮 Before you know it Spring will be here and honestly, I cannot wait! Speaking of Spring, my cards today feature the new Eggstra Special Hot Glimmer Foil Kit of the Month from Spellbinders. Just in time for all my Easter cards needs. I have been so excited to try this month's kit mainly because I just got myself a Hot Foil System which I fell in love with at Creativation earlier this year. It's amazing how a little bit of foil can add so much to a card.

This month Spellbinders March 2020 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month includes 3 different Egg foil patterns, 3 different Egg sized dies, 5-word foil plates and a sentiment strip.

CARD DETAILS

For this first card, I began by blending different shades of colors together onto white card stock. I then used the various Egg Foil Patterns to add the foil to the paper using Silver Glimmer Foil and then used the different sized dies to cut out a bunch of colorful Easter Eggs.

I then just arranged them onto the card front and used foam tape to pop a few of them up. I also paired the Hello + Spring plates together to foil the sentiment strip using the MOONDUST Glimmer Foil and then die cut the strip and added it to the bottom of the card.

For this next card, I used the negatives of the foiled sheets to add foil to scrap pieces of paper simply by adding shims to the Foil Sandwich and pressing it through the Die Cut machine. As you can see in the card below two of the eggs were done using the negatives and only the larger egg was done with the pattern plate.

Here also added the Hello from the Hello Dear Friend Foil Plates and used the PINK Glimmer Foil.

For this last card, I combined both silver and blue foiled eggs and tied them all together by adding a light blend of blue ink onto the white paper.

I then just finished off the card by adding a double sentiment. Firstly onto the pale pink cardstock again using the Moonstone Foil and then onto a white sentiment strip that I then popped on with foam tape.

Queen Bee Birthday Shaker Card | Studio Katia

Do you know any Queen Bees?

I know a few little Queens that qualify for the title and a card like this. I had so much fun creating this cute shaker card featuring a bunch of goodies from the Studio Katia January Release.

  CARD DETAILS

I began by creating the front panel for the shaker. To do that I die cut the SCALLOP HONEYCOMB COVER and then glued a piece of ACETATE to the back and then added the foam tape to the perimeter of the panel.

To fill the inside of the shaker, I added GOLD FEVER CONFETTI, GOLD FEVER GLITTER, and SPARKLING HEARTS CONFETTI GLITTER. I then closed up the shaker panel with a piece of yellow card stock. I then glued the panel to a piece of black cardstock that I had glued to a top folding A2 card base.

Next, I stamped out and colored the HONEY BEES using Copic markers and then used the coordinating  HONEY BEES DIES cut each piece out and then glued them onto the shaker hive front.

To finish off the card front I stamped out the sentiment and heat embossed it in white and then used the PEONY TRIMMINGS + BANNER DIES to die cut the banner.

And here is how I finished off the inside of this darling card.
