To create the galaxy, I blended out 3 ink colors slightly overlapping them and then just added a black ink blend around the edges. I then spritzed the paper and picked up the wet drops with a paper towel which left behind white patches. To add tiny like stars to the galaxy I used white pigment to add splatter to the entire background. I then trimmed the background and added it to a black A2 sized card base.
Next, stamped out the sentiment onto black cardstock and heat embossed in white. I then trimmed it and popped it onto the card front. The last thing I did was add some iridescent bubbles.
I'm not sure how many little white splatters I got on the background, but I thought it was kinda cool that they represented the "million" from the stamped sentiment.
I hope this super simple galaxy Thank you card inspired you all today. Thanks a million for stopping by, I really do appreciate it. If you are interested in signing up for the Spellbinders FSJ Stamp of the Month click HERE for all the details.
