Ink-Blended Rainbow Carrots for a Vibrant Easter Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Easter is a time for new beginnings, fresh starts, and the celebration of the beauty of nature. What better way to capture the essence of this season than by creating a colorful and vibrant Easter card that features the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers: Carrots done in Rainbow colors! This card is perfect for sending well wishes and joy to your loved ones this Easter season.

CARD RECIPE

To get started, you will need the Lovely Layers: Carrots Dies, the Daisy Field - 3D Embossing Folder, the Bee Narrow Upper Case Alpha Dies, and the Simply Spring Paper Pad. You will also need a few additional supplies, including cardstock, blending tools, and ink pads in a rainbow of colors.

First, take the Daisy Field - 3D Embossing Folder and run a piece of white cardstock through your embossing machine to create a beautiful 3D background. Then, take the Lovely Layers: Carrots Dies and die-cut several carrots out of white cardstock.

Next, use your blending brushes and ink pads to create a rainbow of colors on each of the carrot die-cuts. Using blending brushes and ink pads in rainbow colors, blend each carrot from one color to the next, making sure to blend the colors together smoothly. Leave the stems green for contrast.

Once you have finished blending all of your carrot die-cuts, arrange them together in a bunch and glue them onto the embossed background. Use the Bee Narrow Upper Case Alpha Dies to cut out the word "Happy Easter" from black cardstock. For a thicker look, die-cut four of each letter and stack them together. Use a T-square to help straighten and space out the letters, then use tape to keep them in place before adhering them with glue.

Finally, mat your embossed background onto a coordinating piece of cardstock from the Simply Spring Paper Pad, die-cut first with the largest Scallop A2 Frame Die. Mount the entire piece onto a blank card base using adhesive. For a touch of sparkle, tie a bow with a copper-colored fine glitter thread and add a pearl from the Spring Pearl set.

With a little creativity and the right tools, you can create a beautiful and unique Easter card that will bring a smile to anyone's face. So get crafting and have fun making something special for your loved ones this Easter season.

Miss My Peeps Friendship Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello, my Friends. How are you all doing?

Not sure how things are in your part of the world because of COVID, but here we are still not able to visit with friends or family. This year has been hard even for an introvert like me,😆 but I can honestly say I miss haggin' with my peeps! With Easter around the corner, this would make a great card to send to someone you are missing.

CARD RECIPE

 (See supply list in thumbnails below)

• Stamp out images from the EASTER BUDDIES stamp set using Copic-friendly ink.
• Color in images using Copic Markers.
• Die-cut images using the Coordinating EASTER BUDDIES DIES. Set aside.

• Mask off the background of the card panel using a circle from the CIRCLE SPOTLIGHT STENCIL.
• Using BACKGROUND BLENDER BRUSHES, blend out the blue sky.
• To the bottom of the circle blend out some green hills using the GRASSY HILLS BORDER STENCILS. 
• Arrange the stamped images and adhere to the card panel. 
• Stamp out the sentiment from the EASTER BUDDIES stamp set.
• Add the die-cut MISS letters to the top using the TAILGATE ALPHABET DIES (three layers).
• Trim the panel and attach it to a square card base using foam tape.

• Embellish card using, white gel pen details, liquid pixie dust for shine, Glossy Accents, and add a little CLAY CARROT to the bunny's hands.

Hoppy Easter Pick Up Truck Shaped Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello my crafty friends and hope you are doing well.  I have two post going up on the blog today this one is the first one, so stay tuned for more.

This fun Easter card features the new LOADS OF SPRING Stamps and Dies from Honey Bee Stamps latest Spring Bliss Release as well as the super cool BIG PICK UP TAILGATE Stamps and Dies. Looks like this truck has a Easter Delivery for "Some Bunny Special," LOL! Sorry, I just could help myself. 😆

CARD RECIPE:

• Stamp out images from the BIG PICK UP TAILGATE and the LOADS OF SPRING stamp sets using Copic friendly ink. I always use BLACKOUT INK.
• Color in images using Copic markers.

• Die cut the images using the coordinating LOADS OF SPRING DIES. 
• Die cut the BIG PICK UP TAILGATE image as well as tailgate portion using the BIG PICK UP TAILGATE DIES. 
• For the card base, die cut two more blank BIG PICK UP TAILGATE DIES.
• Either score one card base panel near the top to create the hinge or score a small piece of paper to glue to each panel.
• To the front of the shaped card base glue on the finished colored BIG PICK UP TAILGATE image.

• Stamp the EASTER sentiment onto the license plate.
• Glue grass strip to the inside of the tailgate and then pop the tailgate onto the card using foam tape.
• Glue carrots in behind the the tailgate using foam tape.
• Finish the tailgate by adding the letters from the TAILGATE ALPHABET DIES. In place of the O for Hoppy, use the bunny face glued to the basket from the LOADS OF SPRING stamp set. The O could also be and A for Happy.

• Embellish images with glitter and gel pen details.
• I added the coiled wires to attach the bees by wrapping wire around the poker part of the DIE RELEASE TOOL and then sandwiching two die cut bee layers together on the ends.
• I then strategically placed and glued the opposite end in behind images to hold the springs in place.
