Sweet Treat Interactive Surprise Cards | Tina Smith Sweet Street Collection | Spellbinders

Hello friends! 

Hope you have been well. Today I am excited to share a couple of birthday cards featuring a couple of die sets from Tina Smith Sweet Street Collection for Spellbinders.

CARD RECIPE #1

Let's start with the background. This is a 5x7 card. 

• Using the foil plate from the Spot on Background & Sentiments, I dry embossed the background.
• To each embossed circle, I painted on some Liquid Pixie Dust for shine and contrast. Set aside to dry.

• Die-cut the pieces for the 3 cupcakes using Party Cupcake Pocket Dies. Use colors you love and that coordinate well together.
• To the tag and the middle cupcake, I foiled the sentiments using POLISHED BRASS - Glimmer Foil and the sentiment plates from the Celebrate the Day Foil Set. You will need the Hot Foil System for this step.

• Stamp out the sentiments on the other cupcakes. 
• Piece and glue cupcakes together.
• Glue cupcake wrappers to the card base. To the middle cupcake, I added some baker's twine before gluing the wrapper in place. Make sure you trim off any twine not showing from the backside to allow the pocket to work properly.

• Embellish each cupcake as desired. I used glossy accents, Sweet Sprinkles, and Glitter as finishing details.

Here is a look at the surprise messages on each cupcake.

CARD RECIPE #2

• Die-cut the frame from the background panel using the Rectangle Etched Dies.

• Die-cut the pieces for the cake using the dies from the Layer Cake Surprise Dies Set.
• Die-cut the flower from the Party Cupcake Pocket Dies.
• Assemble and glue pieces together.  

• To the chocolate top layer of the cake, foil the sentiment using the Birthday greeting from the Scalloped Rectangle Glimmer Essentials with Sentiments Foil Plates and the Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Speckled Prism. You will need the Foil System for this step.
• Before attaching the cake to the background. Stamp out the sentiments for the recipient to see that this is an interactive card.

• Glue cake to the background.

• Embellish flower center with a pearl.

Rainbow Peony Friendship Card | InkOn3

Hello, my crafty friends, and Happy Tuesday!

Today's simple card features a bunch of goodies from InkOn3 plus one of the most recently released stamp sets, Here For You.

CARD RECIPE

• On a piece of Watercolor Paper prepare the surface for heat embossing using an anti-static bag.
• Stamp put Peony image from the Here For You Set multiple times onto the watercolor panel. Use a black pigment ink of choice and heat set it using Crystal Clear E.P.

• Brush Atelier Re-Inker Colors in Rainbow order across the panel (see linked inks below in supply list), blending previous colors together for a smooth transition.
• Allow cardstock to dry.
• Fussy cut the images out.
• Used foam to pop up the flowers up onto a piece of white cardstock. Trim off any overhang pieces.
• Use a stamping tool to stamp out the sentiments with Blackout Ink. I curved the sentiments around the flowers for some interest.

• Finish by painting on a layer of Liquid Pixie Dust to the Peony blooms and adding a trail of rainbow pearls. (See supply list for pearls used).
• To clean my stamps and make them look brand new again I use the most amazing stamp cleaner and Cloth that is now back in stock again!

Fruity Friendship Summer Cards | Part of Pigment Craft Co Instagram Hop

Hello sweet friends and welcome back to my blog 👋

Today I am super excited to be a part of the Pigment Craft Co Instagram Hop for their June Release. They are a fairly new Stamp company and are proudly Canadian. Check them out!

These cards are part of an IG Hop. If you love fresh summer designs I think you will love Pigment's June Release. So let's get started with today's cards.

CARD RECIPE #1 

• Stamp background using Pattern Builder: Flowering Petals. I used green and yellow ink from Pink Fresh Studio.
• Stamp out peaches and leaves using stamps from the Fruity Stamp Set and die cut using coordinating Fruity Dies. Pop up seed in the center of the peaches.

• Stamp out letters using Dashing Outline Fonts set to spell out Peachy. Color in the desired color. I used a Copic Marker. 
• Die-cut using coordinating Dashing Fonts Dies.
• Use foam tape to pop up the peachy letters and space evenly on the card panel.
• Use a stamp positioner to stamp out the greeting using sentiments from the Berry Sentiments Stamp Set.

• Embellish with coordinating pearls.
• Add Sparkle Glitter for a pop of shine on the letters.

CARD RECIPE #2 

• Use the leaves from the Fruity Set to stamp out the leaves on the top half of the background panel. I used a green distress oxide ink and then sprayed it down to cause some ink to bleed and move on the paper. Trim panel and set it aside to dry.
• Stamp out the lemons from the same Fruity Set. I used the Squeezed Lemon and Mustard Seed Oxide to stamp out the lemons.

• Stamp out the sentiment in the white space at the bottom of the panel.
• Pop the lemons in place using foam tape. 
• Glue onto coordinating yellow cardstock background. 

• Embellish using pearls.

CARD RECIPE #3 

• Create the background using Bitty Diagonal Stripe Stencil, I used a gold gel pen to draw the lines.
•  Stamp out the strawberries from the Jumbo Berry Stamp using desired inks. Here I used Candied Apple and Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry Oxide inks. Plus I also used Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron OI for the foliage. 

• The Sweet Wishes tag was made by die cutting the letters from a strip of paper using the dies from the Berry Sentiment Dies and then cutting out a fishtail flag. Attach to card using foam tape.
• Stamp the birthday greeting below the flag using a stamp positioner and the sentiment from the Berry Sentiments Stamp Set.

• Trim panel and add to a coordinating color cardstock panel and glue that to the card base. 
• Finish card by adding extra design details. Green Pearls, a Gingham bow, gold gel pen details to the seeds topped off using White Crystal Drops for dimension.
