Sealed With Love Day 1 Sneak Peeks | Honey Bee Stamps

It's time again for another Honey Bee Stamps Release, and today the Design Team is showcasing Day 1 Sneak Peeks for the Sealed With Love Release. Please note that new links will not be active until the Release goes live on December 15th, 2021 @9pm CST.

My shaker cards feature a couple of the panels from the A2 Free Bee Paper Pack that you get free with a $75 purchase as well as the You Buzzword Stamps & Dies.

You have seen me make these clear bag cards before, usually using the slimline cello bags but this time I used the A7+ Cello Bag to create a side folding card.

To make the panel fit nicely into the cello bag I trimmed a sliver off the top and the bottom of the panel to slide easily into the sleeve and trimmed the top of the cello bag off. Usually, when you use these panels on a card you only see one side and it is so hard to decide with the one you want to use. You could also do this technique with double-sided pattern paper. Creating a card like this allows you to use both sides, so it's a cute surprise for the recipient when they open it up. I then just finished the inside with a sentiment from the You Buzzword Stamp Set. This next card was done the exact same way only using a different panel and shaker bits. The sentiments also come from the You Buzzword Stamp and Die Sets.

Cityscape Friendship Cards | Hero Arts

I am back again today with a few cards featuring the amazing December Add-Ons from this month's Release from Hero Arts.

This first card features the City Window Fancy Die that I turned into a shaker card. To create the sunset background I ink blended Lemon Drop, Berry Smoothie, and Splash Reactive Inks together. 

To create the shaker window,  I added acetate to the window opening then lined the edges with foam tape. I then filled the shaker area with a sequin mix and closed it up with the blended background. To finish off this clean and simple card I stamped the sentiment "wishing we lived closer" from the Wherever You Go stamp set using Intens-ified Black Ink.

For this next colorful creation, I combined a couple of the new die sets to create this Cityscape scene. I used dies from the City Park HeroScape Frame Cuts as well as the Tri-fold Edge City Fancy Dies. To make it look like the lights were all on in the buildings I trace the outline of the buildings onto a piece of yellow cardstock and then fussy cut them out. I then layered and glue the die-cut buildings onto the yellow cardstock layer.

Doesn't this remind you of New York City and the views you might see looking from Central Park? I can't wait to visit NYC again. Hopefully someday soon!

I used a bunch of scrap pieces of paper to create the layers for this scene and then backed them onto a piece of Pitch Black Cardstock that I had splattered with Unicorn Pigment Ink. I also used the Unicorn Pigment Ink to stamp the sentiment from the City Park HeroScape that was then heat set using White Detail Embossing Powder.

To finish my starry sky I added a scattering of bubbles.

DECEMBER 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit | Hero Arts

Hello, my friends!

The December 2021 My Monthly Hero kit is live!  So I can finally share a couple of cards featuring the new kit. This month's kit is all about cities and neighborhoods. Perfect for those moving, traveling, missing you, thinking of you friendship cards, and many more themes. This month's theme also reminds me of how much I miss traveling and seeing different cities. 

For this card, I stamped the background using Unicorn Pigment Ink onto Pitch Black Cardstock and heat embossed the lines with White Detail Embossing Powder. I then fussy cut a roofline and attached this city scene to the ink blended card panel that I had blended out the sunrise using the inks included in the kit. The sentiment was stamped out using an Intens-ified Black Ink Pad with a few stamps from the included stamp set. To finish I added a few sparkly sequins.

For this next card, I made the entire background panel using the full stamped image that I cut to A2 size. I repeated the same process to stamp the background using Unicorn Pigment Ink onto Pitch Black Cardstock and heat embossed the lines with White Detail Embossing Powder. I then chose one of the little houses and stamped the house using a red piece of cardstock, fussy cut it, and glued it to a strip of paper that I had stamped out another sentiment from the included set.  I then used foam tape to add the house and sentiment onto the card panel. 

To finish, I added the hey! using the same Intens-ified Black Ink Pad and then used the coordinating bubble die from the included die set and popped it in place. Finally, trimmed down the entire panel and added it to the card base. 

Looking at this card now, I realized I forgot to add some bling😱! I never do that!!! Shhh, don't tell anyone... it's our secret!
