Big Bold Magnolias Blog Hop | Ink on 3 New Release

Hello, my friends!

It has been a little while since my last post, just got back from our summer vacation and have lots to catch up on so will be sharing more with you all soon! Today Ink On 3 is celebrating their newest stamp set Big Bold Magnolias with a Blog Hop. One of the magnolias might look familiar since it's featured in our Heels to You set. Because it's been so popular, Ink On 3 has decided to dedicate an entire stamp set to it!

Plus, we are also officially introducing and welcoming the New Ink On 3 Creative Team! SO excited be amongst all this talent!

CARD DETAILS

Magnolias are just gorgeous and they smell amazing, I just think they are an elegant flower and so I chose to make a very clean elegant looking card.

For my card, I used the largest magnolia stamp from the BIG BOLD MAGNOLIAS set and then built it up by adding some leaves and a flower bud by doing some masking. I used BLACKOUT INK to stamp out the Magnolia and then created a mask from a post-it note using the coordinating die to cover it up. (I'm too lazy to fussy cut it so I would rather use a pen after to connect the lines, plus it saves time ;)

I then stamped the bud as shown and the leaves all around the Magnolia, removed the mask and connected any lines that were missing because of the masking. I then used Copic Markers to color in the images. Here is a picture of the markers I used (missing the 0 Blender Marker).

I then inked up the Fabulous sentiment form the DOGWOOD FLOWER stamp set using JUICY INK and then used GOLD RUSH embossing powder to heat set it.

To complete the sentiment, I die cut the Hello from the DOGWOOD FLOWER coordinating die set and added a few layers of BLACK AS NIGHT embossing powder by inking it up with JUICY INK again.

I finished off the card by painting on a layer of LIQUID PIXIE DUST on the magnolia petals using a small tip water brush pen that I had prefilled with the sparkly goodness.

To the center of the flower, I added glossy accents and then finished the card by adding a few black crystals.

Kobi Turns Three | Studio Katia Release Sneak Peek | Day 1

Hello Friends!

This week we are celebrating Studio Katia's 3rd Birthday! So, of course, there will be lots of great inspiration, giveaways and a new Release available this Friday! Today is Day 1 of our Sneak Peeks.

CARD DETAILS

For my card today I have used a few of the new sets. The fun Balloon cluster comes from the be BIRTHDAY BALLON TRIMMINGS set. I never have enough birthday cards so these balloons will come in handy!

I also used another new set KOBI MAKES A WISH and it's coordinating dies, which will actually be revealed on the Studio Katia Blog tomorrow, Shhhhh... it's our secret! So you're actually getting two sneaks here with my birthday card!

To color in these images, I used Zig Clean color brushes and added some glitter and glossy accents for shine. I also used some distress oxide inks to create the background for the images and also finished the card by embellishing it with some new SILVER FEVER FUSION sequins. LOVE how these shine in person!!!

Aloha Friendship Card | Studio Katia

Hello Friends, today I am on the Studio Katia Blog with this tropical vibes friendship card. I think it may be time to plan a nice warm vacation somewhere where these beautiful flowers grow😉

CARD DETAILS

To begin I stamped out the Floral Cluster image from the ALOHA set using Copic safe ink and then colored in it using Copic markers. Sorry lost the color chart I used as I had colored in this image during Kathy Racoosin's Coloring Challenge. I then used the coordinating ALOHA dies to cut the image. 

The next thing I did was blend out the background using the UNDERWATER SUN RAYS stencil using Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry Oxide Inks. Then onto the background, I glued on the GRID COVER I had die cut using a yellow piece of cardstock. 

Next, I stamped out the ALOHA sentiment onto black cardstock using white pigment ink and then heat set it with white embossing powder.

To finish, all I did was adhere the pieces onto the card front using foam tape. For a touch of sparkle, I added some MAJESTIC FUSION sequins and also added some glossy accents to flower stamens. And that is pretty much it for this card. I think this will make a great friendship card, you can also add a birthday greeting on the inside to make it a birthday card in the future.

Ink On 3 Holiday Blessings Blog Hop

Hello my friends and welcome to Ink On 3's Blessings Blog Hop!

I am excited to share two cards with you today featuring some of the new products from Ink On 3. If you have been following my social media you would have seen my first card as a sneak preview last week. So here is my no-line colored poinsettia wreath card again in its entirety! Details on the hop are listed at the end of this post 😉

CARD DETAILS

To make this card I stamped out the poinsettia images first using Fadeout Ink in the shape of a wreath. I then cut out masks for each poinsettia and then stamped the foliage all around the flowers to fill in the areas. I used Copic markers to color the images in and then used a coordinating colored pencil to add details to the wreath. A white gel pen was also used to add some highlights.

Copics Used: Y02, Y08, Y38, YG17, YG67, G28, G94, BG72, BG78, R27, R46, R59, RV29, E18, E29

Next I added some heat embossed details. To the card base, I added doves from the new Blessings Set and then stamped the blessings sentiment onto vellum using Juicy Ink and then heat set it with the Gold Rush powder. I then die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die and wrapped the vellum around the panel and popped it up onto a red piece of cardstock that was then adhered to the card base. Finished off the card by adding some Gold Crystals to the wreath.

For this next card, I used the cross from the Blessings set as the focal piece and the added some of the poinsettia stamps to the center to build a floral bunch. 

I used Blackout Ink to stamp out the images and then die cut them with coordinating dies. Images were colored in with Copic markers again and then details were added using polychromos pencils. A silver gel pen was used to add some grain details to the cross.

Copics Used: Y02, YG03, YG13, YG17, YG63, YG67, G28, G94, RV25, RV29, E18, E29, E34, E39, Colorless Blender 0

Once the cross was complete, it was glued onto a piece of Bristol cardstock that I had blended some rays onto the background. For some sparkle, I added some clear sequins and glossy accents to the centers of the poinsettias.

I then finished off the front by adding a piece of silver washi tape across the bottom of the cross and by stamping out the sentiments from the Blessings set using Blackout Ink.
