Birthday Baker Apron Easel Card | Honey Bee Stamps | Instagram Hop

Hello Friends, 

Today's card is part of the Honey Bee Stamp Let's Celebrate Release Instagram Hop. I have never made an Easel card before so it took me some figuring out to do, and I am so happy with the results that I think I will be making some more in the future. CARD RECIPE

• Stamps and Dies - Baked With Love Stamps &  Coordinating Dies
• Apron A2 Dies
• Apron: Garden Tool Add-on Dies
• Paper - Funfetti Birthday Paper Pad 
• Neenah Solar White HBS | SSS | AMZ
• Envelope - Funfetti Birthday A2 Envelopes
• Ink - Intense Black Ink 
• Shark Tooth Atelier Ink SSS | IO3
• Embossing Powder - Arctic White EP SSS | IO3
• Die Cut Machine - Gemini Junior SSS | AMZ
• Adhesives - Bee Creative Glue
• Foam - Foam Squares HBS
• Pens - White Gel Pen HBS 
• Colored - using Copic Markers SSS | AMZ

• Die-cut, color, and assemble apron, as shown above, set aside.
• To the card base, score a horizontal line on the front panel to create the fold for the Easel.
• Trim pattern paper to A2 size and cut paper to match the scoreline created on the card front. Glue in place.

• On the inside of the card, glue a rectangle pop-up together using pattern paper. I glued an extra piece of cardstock under the top (where the card front will rest for added strength).
• Cut a little slot toward the front of the rectangle pop-up to slide the support for the bowl, fold the support piece, and glue it to the inside of the pop-up. Glue bowl to the support.
• To the front of the rectangle piece glue the wooden roller by adding a piece of paper scored in half and gluing it to the top of the roller and the edge of the pop-up ensuring that the pieces will fold flat when the card is closed. (see second to last photo for an overhead visual).

• Stamp sentiments as shown (in hindsight, it would have been easier to stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card before I glued on the pop-up).

• Love that these Easel cards fold flat too and fit nicely in an envelope.

Stitched Card Front, Border & Flower Inspiration Projects | Spellbinders DOML - MAY21

Hello friends and hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday! Today's projects feature the Large Die of the Month Kit as well as the Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit for May 2021.

CARD RECIPE

• Die-cut floral frame from the Large Die of the Month using your Die Cutting Machine.
• Stich using floss or twine. (I would recommend floss as the twine I used got a bit bulky in some spots.)

• On the card base, stamp out the sentiment of your choice from the Clear Stamp of the Month Club.  
• Glue finished stitched piece to the card base.
• Embellish with gems and crystals.

For my next project, I decided to create a rainbow-inspired boolmark using the floral strip from the Large Die of the Month.

To create the bookmark.

•  Stitch each flower using a different color in rainbow order.
• Die-cut another piece and glue it to the back of the stitched area.
• Glue the rainbow floral strip to a bookmark cut to the desired size.
• Punch a hole on the top of the bookmark. 
• Loop through and secure rainbow colors of twine. 
• Embellish flower centers with jewels.

Clear Stamp and Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month Inspiration Cards | Spellbinders

Hello, my dear friends!

Today's cards feature the Clear Stamp and Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month from Spellbinders. I made a Spring-inspired Thank You card and a birthday card for my son who turns 17 this week.😱 Still can't he is almost 17!

CARD RECIPES

(SEE SUPPLY LIST BELOW FOR INGREDIENTS USED)

• On a card panel cut to A2 size, stamp the flowers from the Stamp of the Month Club.
• Used the coordinating scalloped edge to die-cut the curved design using dies from the GLIMMER HOT FOIL KIT.
• Use the excess piece of paper from the panel to foil the bottom foiled piece of the card front. Start by cutting a clean edge with the coordinating dies.

• Set up Hot Foil System.
• Run the lined curved plate from the GLIMMER HOT FOIL KIT through the PLATINUM 6 DIE CUTTING PLATFORM using and the Lavender Petal Glimmer Foil.
• Die-cut the edge of the foiled piece with the pierced dotted scallop die.
• Assemble the card front. Create a hinge at the top of the stamped piece and then attach a piece of acetate behind it. Leave some space for the thank you sentiment to peek through, and then glue the floating curved foil piece to the acetate. 
• Position the Thank you plate on another cardstock panel and foil using the same Lavender Petal Glimmer Foil.
• Attach the front panel to the back panel using the hinge created above.
• Embellish card front with gems.

CARD #2

• Foil the Happy Birthday onto the card panel using BLACK Glimmer Foil.
• Stamp out the candle background using the curved candle stamp from the Stamp of the Month Club.
• Color in images as desired. I used Copic markers.
• Die-cut a scalloped edge using vellum. Glue layer to the top half of the card. 

• Die-cut the numbers using dies from the BIRTHDAY WISHES LDOM FEB21 and black cardstock.
• Add a layer of glue to the top of the numbers and sprinkle on glitter for added sparkle.
• I also used the same glitter on the candle flames.

• Embellish card with pearls or desired embellishments.
