CARD RECIPE

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen this card already. This shaker card was so fun to make. I added an element of extra movement to the shaker and suspended the two larger spiders on glitter thread which makes it even funner to shake and watch them move.

Ink Swiping Technique Cards for Teachers | SSS STAMPtember Blog Party

Hello Crafty Friends, it's STAMPtember!!!

My cards are for all the teachers out there. They don't receive enough praise and the new XL Teacher Greetings Sets should help with that 😁

CARD RECIPE

I'm not going to go into much detail with these cards as they are super simple one-layer cards and all done the same way. 

If you ever need a quick background, try Ink Swiping. It is literally taking your ink pad and swiping it across the paper. For that, I used various colors of SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads. Each card was then stamped using a sentiment from the XL Teacher Greetings Set and finished with enamel of coordinating colors. 

Let's take a closer look at this rainbow set for teachers.

Inks used Guava, Watermelon, and Cherry Positively Saturated Ink Trio and SSS Intense Black Ink.

For this orange card, I mixed up a couple of different orange ink trios. I used Cantaloupe, Sherbert and Mandarin Positively Saturated Ink and SSS Intense Black Ink.

Inks used Lemonade, Sunbeam and Citrine Positively Saturated Ink Trio, and SSS Intense Black Ink.

Inks used Spring, Dublinand Lucky Positively Saturated Ink Trio and SSS Intense Black Ink.

Inks used Marine, Cadette, and Royal Positively Saturated Ink Trio and SSS Intense Black Ink.

This next card is my favorite with the googly eyes, it just makes me laugh! 😆

Inks used Lilac, Orchid, and Amethyst Positively Saturated Ink Trio and SSS Intense Black Ink.

Home Is Where the Succulents Are Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello dear friends! 

Hope you are all doing well. We just got back from a little getaway to the west coast. It was nice to get away for a little but I am happy to be home. Today's card is kind of fitting. I love all things succulent, even though they sometimes manage to die on me it doesn't stop me from loving them. 

This card features the beautiful Succulent Garden Builder Dies from Honey Bee Stamps' last release. This card is perfect for a friend, a loved one, or someone that just moved into a new house.

CARD RECIPE

• To start I die cut all the succulents a couple of times from white cardstock.
• I then used various shades of green and purples to ink blend the foliage.
• To add extra detail I used Copic markers.

• Next, I created the arrangement and glued the pieces in place to create a hanging basket. I did snip off the tassels from the hanger to make it work with the pot I used.
• I then used gold foil thread and looped it through the hanger and secure the ends to the back of the scalloped panel that I had cut using the largest frame from the Scallop A7 Frame Dies.

• The sentiment comes from the Bitty Buzzwords: Bloom Stamps using Intense Black Ink on the side of the panel.
• To embellish the card a little I added a few gems from the Marvelous Moments Gem Stickers set.
• I then glue the panel onto a card base that I had glued a piece of pattern paper from the Marvelous Moments Paper Pad.

I hope you like this clean and simple Home Is Where the Succulents Are Card of mine today. These simple cards are the hardest card to make for me as I always want to keep adding more, lol!
