You're the Sweetest Friend Very Berry Trimmings Card | Studio Katia

Hello friends!

It has been a while since I last made a card for Studio Katia. Unfortunately, the Pandemic was hard on this little Canadian Stamp company but I am happy to see that she is back and as strong as ever. I am in love with her latest release. So many cute sets I can't wait to share more.

CARD RECIPE

I am loving how this card came together. This latest trimming set VERY BERRY TRIMMINGS is so gorgeous!

To begin, I stamped out the VERY BERRY TRIMMINGS images using watermark ink and then heat embossed using gold embossing powder on Bristol paper. I then colored in the images using Karin Brushmarkers Pro and then used the coordinating VERY BERRY TRIMMINGS DIES. I also did the same with the BUTTERFLIES stamps and DIES.

The next thing I did was work on what would become the card front. To create it, I die cut the front panel using MICRO HEXAGON COVER. To give it some rigidity I added an acetate panel. I then glued it to the back panel that I had created using a little hinge. To the card front, I then glued the finished trimming panels using foam tape.

Finally, I added a sentiment from the BERRY SWEET SENTIMENTS stamps and DIES. To finish off this colorful creation, I embellished the fruits with Glossy Accents, Chucky Sparkle Glitter, and LEMON BURST PEARLS.

Hello, sweet crafty friends!

Welcome back to my blog. I am loving this Modern Spring Release from Honey Bee Stamps. So many products to celebrate Spring. Love how this Spring Bouquet turned out.

CARD RECIPE

This card features many new products from the Modern Spring Collection. Here is the breakdown.

• Whimsical Spring Flowers | Honey Cuts - Ink blended using Atelier Inks
• Wooden Crate | Honey Cuts
• Spring Leaves A2 Pierced Cover Plate - background
• Gingham Galore Spring Paper Pad
• Warm Pearls Stickers - Flower centers (also glued used microbeads surrounding pearls)
• Small Card Hot Foil Plates - foiled in Brass foil using a hot foil system then die cut a banner from Sentiment Banner Dies

Doesn't this just make you wish Spring was already here?! I cannot wait for the snow to be gone!

I am still in disbelief at what is happening in the world right now. It feels like the last couple of years have been robbed from us because of the Pandemic and now we are facing war. Watching the events, leave me filled with feelings of sadness and helplessness for the people of Ukraine.
