Water Lily Sympathy Card | Adventure Awaits Release | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello, dear friends!

Today, I want to share a stunning sympathy card that features the exquisite Lovely Layers Water Lily from the Adventure Awaits Release by Honey Bee Stamps.

CARD RECIPE

To start, I began by crafting the transparent section of the card using vellum and applying glimmer paste through the Fish Net Stencil. While that dried, I focused on creating the other elements of the card.

For the Water Lily, I die-cut the pieces from white card stock and added color through ink blending. Then, I assembled the lily using foam to achieve a dimensional effect. To enhance the flower's center, I applied glue and sprinkled chunky glitter for a touch of sparkle. Additionally, I used a green Copic marker to create shadows and add detail to the lily pad.

 

To create an opaque window, I utilized the Sweet Stacks Ovals to die-cut a shimmery vellum background from the panel I had created earlier. Next, I die-cut a smaller oval on the front of the card base. By using both sizes of the oval dies, I created a frame and adhered it first to the vellum layer and then attached it to the card's front.

For the sentiments I used the "With Our Love" plate from the Foil Script: Wishes Hot Foil Plate/Dies done in Sky Bright Glimmer Foil and add the "With Sympathy" sentiment from the Mini Messages Stamps that I stamped onto a Mini Messages Dies Banner die.

I am delighted to be here once again, sharing with you the serene beauty of the At the Lake Scene Card from the Adventure Awaits collection by Honey Bee Stamps.

CARD RECIPE

Let me take you through the creative process of this card.

I began by blending out the background scene using the At the Lake Layering Stencils. I then die-cut the pieces for one of the cabins and the trees from the Summer Cabins Dies, I also added a few die-cuts from the Lovely Layers Trees to use in the scene. I then colored the pieces using Copic markers and pieced them together.

Next, I die-cut the A2 Scene Builder Card Base Dies to create the base for the scene. For the back part of the card, I used thick white cardstock; on the front of it, I used a pattern piece of paper from the Adventure Awaits Paper Pad.

The sentiment I stamped on the front comes from the Hooked On You Stamp set done in Intense Black Ink. To finish, I added some sparkles to the water to create some shimmer on the lake. 

This darling scene is a perfect choice for any occasion, particularly for those who cherish the wonders of nature. Just write your message on the back and then fold it flat and slide it into an A2 size envelope.

Spring Birthday Gift Card Box | Adventure Awaits Release | Honey Bee Stamps

Hey Friends, I am back again today with more inspiration for the Adventure Awaits Release from Honey Bee Stamps.

Today I am featuring the Vintage Gift Card Box Dies not in the theme of the Release but rather as a Spring Birthday Gift Card Box. This Gift Card Box could easily be made to suit your needs for any occasion by simply changing your papers and the sentiment. Make sure to check out all the supplies I used in the links below.

Here is a photo of me holding it for reference of scale. It is large enough to hold a gift card plus it could hold some treats as well.

The window is optional, but I like that it's there. You could easily also change the shape of the by using an oval or a rectangular die too. Other than die cutting and assembling the box and flowers there is not much to explain. The sentiment comes from the new Hooked on You Stamp and Die sets.

I hope this little birthday gift card box inspired you. The Box Die itself is a bit pricey, but if you are someone that loves to give out gift cards this die will definitely come in handy and pay for itself. I think this would make a great little treat box to give as a gift to your guests for a larger event like a shower or even a wedding.
