CARD DETAILS

For my cards today I created a set of Rainbow inspired Encouragement cards using the Leaf Cluster Stamp set. These actually came together really quickly. 

In order to mass produce cards this way, I found it easier to use multiple stamping tools. One for each color I was stamping (3 for each card). First I would stamp out the leaf cluster that I wanted in the background and then move my piece of paper to the next stamp positioner and stamp out the next color and so on until I stamped out the last layer which below would be like the red leaf clusters in the image below.

To stamp out these images I used Distress Oxide Inks. Rather than wiping off any of the ink left behind on the stamps I misted them with water and then did some second generation stamping onto new panels in the same order to give me the watercolored look.

I then added some splatters to the top area of each card panel in a coordinating color and then stamped out the sentiment in the white space. The Encouragement greeting stamps come from both the Sentiment Strips set and the Leaf Clusters set.

For this next card, I chose to go with a traditional Red Rose color. I stamped out one of the floral clusters from the Forever in Love stamp set and then colored it in using Copic markers. I then used the coordinating Forever in Love die to cut it out. 

To create some drama in the background I used the Warp Speed Stencil to add some black Diamond Glimmer paste and then finished it off with the Always and Forever sentiment from the Sentiment Strips set.
