Magical Unicorn Card | Ink On 3

Hello my friends!

Today's card features this gorgeous Unicorn from Ink On 3's latest Release, the Magical Unicorn and Coordinating Dies.

How Magical is this card!?! I know a few little girls that would love this card...and a few adult girls too for that matter, 😁🦄!

CARD DETAILS

To make this card I began by stamping the image using Juicy Ink onto Bristol paper. I then geat embossed the lines using Arctic White Embossing Powder (definitely my favorite embossing powder). 

I then colored the image in using Zig Clean Color Brush pens. I also used Liquid Pixie Dust to add shimmer to the Unicorn's mane, horn, eyelid and the stars that were stamped on the card base.  

Once the image was dry I die cut the Unicorn using the coordinating die. 

The next thing I did was die cut the clouds from the background panel and used die cut clouds to add to the sky scene. To a few of the clouds, I added the sentiments stamped in Blackout Ink. Before adhering the Unicorn in place I stamped out the Unicorn Sentiment on the bottom of the panel. Also, to add some color to the sky I added a light blend of Broken China Oxide Ink. The card base measures 4 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall.

It is so hard to see but the clouds have been painted with Liquid Pixie Dust 😍

Liquid Pixie Dust on Poinsettia Blessings Card | Ink On 3

Hello! 

I'm not sure about you all but this month is just flying by in a few weeks Christmas will be here!

Today I'm popping in to share this simple Christmas Poinsettia Blessings card I made using a few of Ink On 3's goodies. 

I really wanted to showcase the new Liquid Pixie Dust because it is awesome especially if you like to add shimmer to your cards. It is so hard to capture it on camera but I added it to the poinsettias on the card. So much sparklier in person! 

For this card, I stamped on a sheet of vellum using Juicy Ink the Poinsettia set and then heat set it using Chrome embossing powder. I then colored the images in using Copic markers. If I were to do this card over I would have colored the poinsettias on the other side of the vellum and just added the Liquid Pixie Dust to the top as the alcohol markers do color the embossing if you are really careful to stay in the lines, which I obviously wasn't. I then added the little banner to the top using a few sentiments from the Blessings set.

Snow Buddy Northern Lights Sparkle Card | Ink On 3

There is Snow Buddy Like You... So cute, I love that sentiment! 

Today I had fun playing around with distress oxide inks to create this northern light's sky for this cute little bear from Ink On 3's Snow Buddies Stamp set. I also finally got the New Liquid Pixie Dust in the snail mail (doesn't help the at Canada post is on strike👎) and was so excited to play with that too!

It is so difficult to show you all as today is so cloudy and it was so hard to capture all the shine in pictures, especially on the white. The bottom of the card is completely covered in liquid pixie dust, I just wish you could see it in person 😍

To make this card was simple, but it did take a few steps. I first stamped out the stars using Juicy Ink and then heat embossed it using the Crystal Clear embossing powder. I then stamped out the bear using Blackout Ink and then masked him off to work on the background also masking the snow area. Next, I used various sizes of the blending brushes to add the colors to the sky (see links below for the colors used) I then spritzed the background with water to lift off some of the color and removed the masks. Next, I lightly rubbed the color off the stars using a paper towel to reveal the white of the paper behind the clear embossing.

I then colored my little bear in using Zig Markers and applied a coat of liquid pixie dust to the scarf and hat. I then took a larger paintbrush and painted the whole bottom of the card with the pixie dust to create a glittery snow effect. Once that area was dry I stamped out the sentiment under the bear and finished the card by adding all the embellishing touches. The glossy accents to the eyes and the nose, the white gel highlights and falling snow and finally the strip of Stickles glitter glue along the edge of the snow.
