Flippin Fabulous Flip Flop Friendship Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Friends and Happy Monday!

Today I have a fun Flippin' Fabulous Flip Flop Friendship Card to share with you (try saying that 3 times fast, lol). I've had this idea in my head since I first saw the new FLIP FLOP BUILDER DIES. It was actually inspired by a photo I took a few years ago with some of my friends after we had all gone for a pedicure together. So I thought it would be fun to create the summer version of my photo, which could be used for so many occasions.

CARD DETAILS

The first thing I did was select the pattern papers I was going to use on for my flip flops which all came from the HOT TROPICS PAPER PAD. I then used the FLIP FLOP BUILDER DIES to die cut each set of flip flops. I also die cut the flip flops from 110bs white cardstock to add some reinforcement under the pattern pieces.

Once the shoes were assembled, I then created the background. I used the largest DOUBLE STITCHED SQUARE DIE to die cut a panel from kraft cardstock. Next, I used a BACKGROUND BLENDER BRUSH to add some Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink (DO) around the edges of the panel. I then used the SANDY SHORES stamp out the sand on the background this time using Vintage Photo DO ink.

To the back of each flip flop, I added some foam tape and glued them to the card panel. Anything that hung over the edge of the panel I snipped off with scissors.

The sentiments I used come from the FLIPPIN FABULOUS stamp set that I then die cut with the coordinating dies from the FLIPPIN FABULOUS DIE Set.

For an added touch of bling, I used matching gem stickers on each flip flop that comes from the HOT TROPICS Sticker set.

Hello Summer DAY 4 Sneak Peeks | Hello Summer Sunset Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Happy 4th of July to all my American friends and happy weekend to the rest of us.

Welcome to the Hello Summer DAY 4 Sneak Peeks for Honey Bee Stamps. I am in love with the stamp set featured on my card today. I think it may be one of my favorites from this release. The set I am referring to is the HELLO SUMMER set.

CARD DETAILS

For my card today I began with blending a sunset as the background for my card using the CIRCLE SPOTLIGHT STENCIL and the distress oxide inks listed below.

Once the ink was completely dry, I stamped out the Hello Summer, and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder and then die cut the panel using a frame from the DECKLE EDGE A2 HONEY CUTS.

Next, I added the stamped images that I had colored and die cut using the coordinating HELLO SUMMER Dies.

I then finished the card by adding some black gem stickers around the sentiment and some stickles to the glass cup.

Oh, how I wish I was on a beach right now watching a gorgeous sunset.
