Lovely Layers Anniversary Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Friends,

This Anniversary card is all about the Layers! Absolutely love how easy it was and how it all came together. The finished card measures 6.5x5 inches. This release is not only great for Valentine's but all year round as the pieces are timeless.

Embossed Heart - Floral Heart 3D Embossing Folder and Die Set

Sentiment base Die - Lovely Layouts: Posted - Dies

Patter Paper - Textiles and Texture Vintage Paper Pad

Sentiment - Mini Messages Stamps 

White Sentiment layer - Mini Messages Dies

Embellishments - Vintage Love Gem Stickers

White Ink - Bee Creative Brilliant White Pigment Ink

Black Ink - Bee Creative Intense Black Ink Pad

Besides, die cutting and stamping the sentiment this card is not complicated at all. Like I said earlier, it is all about the layers.

The hardest part was embossing the large heart using the Floral Heart 3D Embossing Folder and then Die-cutting it with the coordinating heart. I then used the Bee Creative Brilliant White Pigment Ink and rubbed it over the embossed raised areas.

You Are Loved Release | Simon Says Stamp

Hello my friends!

Hope Christmas was good for all! It has been a bit crazy for me as I haven't been feeling the greatest. Plus, I have had to work during the holidays and have so many projects and things on the go. I am hoping things slow down soon and life goes back to normal after the Holidays!

For today's post, I want to share a couple of cards I made showcasing the Always and Forever Stamp set from Simon Says Stamp latest You Are Loved Release.

CARD DETAILS

To begin this card, I first drew the wire at the top of the card. Next, I stamped out the bulbs along the wire to make it look like they were hanging from it. I then colored them in using Copic markers and added some Liquid Pixie Dust to the bulbs to add some shimmer. I also blended some squeezed lemon oxide ink around each bulb to add a soft glow. To the hearts, I added glossy accents for dimension.

I then stamped out the sentiment onto black cardstock and heat set it using white embossing powder and popped it up using some foam tape. At that is pretty much it for this super cute card!

This next card is a super quick one to make for an Anniversary card. This would have been a great card to for me a few months back when we celebrated out 20th Anniversary! I'll just have to save this one for next year 😉 

The first thing I did was stamp out the champagne glasses and then colored them in with Copics. I then stamped and heat embossed the Always and Forever Sentiments in Gold. Next, I die cut the Frames and added the gold frame around the smaller panel to which I popped up with foam tape. For extra shine, I added glossy accents to top of the glasses and added some sequins.

On the inside, I stamped out these beautifully written sentiments.
