Sealed With Love Day 4 Sneak Peeks | Honey Bee Stamps

My first Plant Scene card today features the new Happy Plants Stamps and Dies, the Rooting for You Sentiment Stamps and Dies as well as the new Geometric Lines Stencil.

These plants were colored using Copic Markers, and I used Hero Arts Embossing Paste to create the background.

This next Plant Scene card features the new Mod A2 Cover Plate as well as pattern paper from the new Hugs And Kisses Paper Pad.

I always have to finish my cards with a little bit of bling, a card of mine isn't complete unless there is a sparkle somewhere. Is anyone else like that or am I the only crazy one?! LOL😆

The Rooting for You along with the Happy Plant Sets make the perfect cards for someone who is moving, has bought a new house, needs encouragement or sympathy, or just a thank you for their hospitality.

Rainbow Butterflies Slimline Card | Studio Katia

Hello sweet friends!

Today I have a rainbow-inspired slimline Butterfly card to share with you. As you may already know by now, my favorite color is rainbow because I love all of them, lol! So if you can't decide like me, always chose rainbow... they just make for the happiest of cards. 🌈😊

My cards today feature some of the newest products from Studio Katia. 

CARD RECIPE

Here is a breakdown of what I used and where.

Let me explain some parts.

For the background, I used three colors of ink to blend out the rainbow. I then trimmed the panel and popped it behind the new DOTTED SLIMLINE SET 3 die.

For the butterflies, I stamped the butterflies using Blackout Ink on both white cardstock and vellum. I then used 3 colors of Copic markers (pink, yellow, and blue) to blend out the rainbow colors over the entire butterfly image. As you can see I was not careful to stay in the lines. It really was about adding a quick color. For each butterfly, I just moved the markers in different directions overlapping the colors in between to give create the rainbow blend. I repeated the same thing to the vellum butterflies only this time I colored the underside of the vellum making sure I colored them in the same pattern as the coordinating paper layer.

Once the butterflies were colored I then added a thin layer of glue using a glue pen (sorry forgot to link below) to the top of the vellum wings. Once they were dry I then bent and curled the wings and glued the bodies together and added them to the card front.

The sentiment was stamped and heat-embossed onto a banner from the PEONY TRIMMINGS DIES.

Here is a closer look at the gorgeous sparkle on the wings. I am a bit obsessed with SPARKLE GLITTER!

I then just finished this Rainbow Butterflies Slimline card by dropping some coordinating pearls into the die-cut holes of the card panel.

Happily Ever After Fall Wedding Cake Card | Studio Katia

Hello crafty friends! This past weekend our family attended our first wedding since Covid began. I have to admit it felt strange being in a large group setting again. But, hopefully, now that many of us have been vaccinated I hope life can slowly get back to a new normal. 

Anyways, let's get on with today's card. I am so excited to share with you a Fall Wedding Card featuring products from Studio Katia's latest release. 

Studio Katia has had one of the worst years ever because of Covid. Lots of lost products in the mail, shipping issues, production delays, and technical issues the list goes on. But, I am happy to say she has toughed through it and survived and is back with some really cool products. Check out her latest release →HERE. I really hope this dark cloud has lifted from her because I have really missed seeing and sharing her awesome products.

Here is a close-up of this pretty card. Hopefully, you can see all the sparkle and shine, but also the dry embossed hearts on the background. I used the SCATTERED HEARTS Stencil and ran it through the die-cut machine with the rubber impression mat. I then painted on a little Liquid Pixie Dust for sparkle.

Pictures don't do this card justice. Those DARK CHOCOLATE PEARLS appear different in these pictures, but they look almost good enough to eat in person and match the chocolate frosting so beautifully!

This beautiful cake stamp could be used all year round and it was perfect timing for the beautiful Fall wedding we just attended. I hope this Happily Ever After Fall Wedding Cake Card inspired your next cake card creation.
