Fintastic Birthday Shaker Card

Hello!

I'm back again today with another fun "Fintastic Birthday" shaker card. I made this card for my little Godson Cristiano who turns 3 this year!

How cute is this little fishy stamp? 

The stamp set I used comes from Your Next Stamp - Snorkel Fun Fishy

And how cool are those bubbles!?!

To create the fish bowl I used a circle die. When making an incomplete cut of any die, place your die over the edge of the cutting plates so that there is no pressure on the area. Then I cut a straight edge across the top of the circle using a blade and ruler. 

I used my Spectrum Noir Markers (BT7, BT8, CT3, CG3, DR5, DR7) to colour this little guy in and added some Glossy Accents to the goggles.

For the background I blended some distress inks (peacock feathers) and spritzed it with some water to create the blotchy appearance.

For the sequin shaker mix I used clear sparkly sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and some Recollections Chunky Glitter.

To finish the inside of the card I did a little bit of watercolor smooshing over the sentiment and used the wonky stitched die from MTF.


For stamping I used memento Tuxedo Black Ink.


The patterned Paper came from American Crafts Shoreline Paper stack.

Monsterous Birthday Wishes Slider Cards

Today I have some really fun slider cards to share with you!
Happy Birthday to my little cousin Marko one of these is his ;)

I thought these little monsters made the perfect aliens. They come from Your Next Stamp - Silly Monster stamp set. How cool do my galaxy backgrounds look?!? I really had fun making those. Lots of distress ink smooshing and splatters.

Used my spectrum my Spectrum Noir Markers (BP3, BP4, OR3, CT3, BT7, BT8, CG3) to colour the little monsters in and added some Glossy Accents to the their teeth and eyes. The little monster in the picture below got below got some real googly eyes!

I also added some Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sparkling sequins to the card fronts. I really love how they look like they belong in the galaxy!

For added sparkle I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the planets!


To create the circles on the large planet I ran the stitched circle through my die cutting machine using the dotted embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers.

On the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment using some Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
