First Holy Communion Box Card | SVGCuts

I'm always on the lookout for cute religious card ideas and as soon as I saw SVGCuts latest Easter Box Cards SVG Kit I immediately had to get it!

This past weekend, we celebrate my youngest God Daughter's Communion Day and I thought this card would be perfect for the occasion.

Isn't it beautiful?!

Just in case you were wondering... yes, it does fold flat and slide into an envelope!

Hello Spring Celtic Card | SVGCuts

Hello Everyone!!!

I cannot remember the last time we have had such a mild winter. The little snow that we had is almost all gone! Every year it feels like we only get a few weeks of Spring and then go straight into summer because of our extremely long winters! This year I think we will see it fairly soon (fingers crossed). I cannot wait for Spring to arrive!

When I first saw the latest FREE Celtic Card file from SVGCuts, I immediately was inspired to create a Spring/Easter card. Look just how beautiful it turned out! 

Here is a close up of these dainty little flowers and the stamped sentiment.

The Hello stamp was stamped then cut using the Silhouette PixScan mat using a scanner. Click HERE for a previous tutorial on the pixscan/scanner method.

First Communion Cards | SVGCuts

This past weekend our God Daughter Aleina along with a few other little friends of ours, celebrated their First Holy Communion. Big deal for these young men and women! So of course I had to whip up some Communion cards. 

I think these cards could be used for various other religious events!

The file for the cross, chalice, and dove come from SVGCuts Christian Elements SVG Collection. The base of the card and the layers were created using basic shapes in the Silhouette DE program. 

Here are a few more close-up pictures of each card! Very happy with how they turned out :)
