Vintage Mailbox Gift Card, Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello friends and Happy Monday!

Today's card features the super cool Mailbox Card Base from the Vintage Love Release from Honey Bee Stamps which I magically turned into a mailbox for a Gift card, so keep reading to see how I did that.

CARD RECIPE

Mailbox - A2 Vintage Mailbox Card Base Dies

Gift Card Post Card- Mini Postcard Die

Frame - Lovely Layouts Posted Dies

Inside sentiment - Mailbox Memos Stamp Set

Background Stamps - Postmarked Stamp Set

Gems - Vintage Love Gem Stickers

To create the space for the Gift Card, I added a thin piece of foam tape along the edge of the top layer of the mailbox and then glued it to the bottom layer. 

To hold the gift card I simply used a tape runner and applied low tack tape to the back of the gift card I then attached it to the Mini Postcard Die that I had stamped using images from the Postmarked Stamp Set.

To keep the mailbox door closed I cut a thin strip of magnetic material and attached it to the door and the inside of the mailbox.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the Mailbox Memos Stamp Set.

Once the recipient removes the gift card they will also see another little message that I stamped from the Mailbox Memos Stamp Set.

Gingerbread House Treat Box and Card | Pixie Dust Designs

Hello Friends! 

Today I am excited to be guesting for Pixi Dust Designs. They just had their Christmas Release and it is packed with so much cuteness 😍 So let me show you the inspiration projects I created.

This darling Gingerbread House Treat Box is perfect for gifting a small treat to someone special this season. 

I love all the sparkles and all the embellishments.  I think all the extra touches like using glitter paper, gel pen details, and adding gem and pearl stickers take this project to another level!

As you can see there is a theme here. Can you tell I love gingerbread 😋

CARD RECIPE

Stamps - Gingy Dress-Up Stamp Set

Coordinating Dies - Gingy Dress Up Pixi Cuts

For the background, I stamped out the gingerbread house and candy canes and heat-set them using white ink and embossing powder. Next, I masked off the area at the top and ink blended the sky. To it, I then added water splatters followed by white splatters for stars. Once dry I added glossy accents to some of the stamped areas to make them shine. 

Next, I added a small strip of white glitter paper for snow. Popped up the stamped Gingy Dressed Up Cutties with foam, and finished the card with the sentiment.

Hello Autumn Blessings Slimline Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello, dear friends! 👋

It's astonishing how fast September has arrived! Tomorrow, my kids will resume their school routine, and in the blink of an eye, Autumn will grace us with its presence. Here in western Canada, we anticipate its early arrival, as nature is already beginning to paint our surroundings with vibrant it's colors.

Today's card was all things fall-inspired, featuring some new goodies from the Heartfelt Harvest Release and some timeless favorites from Honey Bee Stamps.

CARD RECIPE

Apple Barrel - Die cut all the pieces for the Lovely Layers: Apple Barrel Dies. I added some distress oxide ink to the edges and gel pen details and then pieced it together. 

Sunflower  - Die cut the pieces for Lovely Layers: Sunflower Dies. Add ink to the start of the petals near the center. I used a dark brown Copic marker to darken the center. Glue the layers together and finish the center with the copper gems from the Homestead Harvest Gems. To create a stem I just cut a thin piece of the same cardstock color I used for the leaves. 

Sentiment - Comes from the Slimline Sentiments: Eyelet Dies. Cut out the hello 3 times, stack and glue them together. To make it glossy, I added Bee Creative Watermark Ink to ink the top and then used clear embossing powder to melt onto it. 

Background - The Slimline frame I used comes from the Slimline Sentiments: Stitched Dies, to the panel I ink blended Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. I then used the fence, grass, and cloud dies from the Horizon Slimline Borders to finish the background elements.

On the inside, I combined a couple of sentiments from the Heartfelt Hello Stamps, using Intense Black Ink and some creative masking. 

I'm not too upset Fall is just around the corner as I do love the Pumpkin Spice Lattes, the freshly baked apple pies, and the beautiful colors of the Fall. I hope this Hello Autumn Blessings Slimline Card also gets you a little excited about it too.
