Beautiful Butterflies Friendship Card ft. Stephanie Low's Wandering Butterflies Etched Dies

Happy Monday friends!

Today I'm sharing this Beautiful Butterflies Friendship card ft. Stephanie Low's Wandering Butterflies Etched Dies for Spellbinders.

I wanted to create a bright and colorful card using these beautiful dies so I chose to color them using a rainbow palette. I loosely added layers of color to the butterflies using Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors. Once they were dry I added black and white splatters to them. To the top of each butterfly, I added the intricately cut vellum layer which I later added Wink of Stella glitter to. The body of the butterfly was colored with a black Copic marker and then I used glossy accents to give the body dimension. Once the butterflies were finished I played around with the layout and when I was happy with it I added watercolor to the background to match the butterfly that would be glued on top of that area. Before gluing down the butterflies, I stamped out the sentiment from the SSS Sketch Ranunculus set.

Forever Best Friends Card for the Daily Marker Blog Hop

Hello Friends!

Today I am excited to be joining the Studio Katia Design Team as we hop along with Kathy Raccosin on The Daily Marker Blog Hop for Day 16 of the Color Challenge! 

Here is the fun card I created for the hop. I used the Best Friends Stamp set to create this cluster of cats and dogs by stamping it twice and doing some very simple masking in between.

To color my images in I used Spectrum Noir Markers. (Please don't ask for a list as I completely forgot to write them all down before I put them all away) 😕  Since this was a fairly large image to color in I kept the coloring and shading pretty simple. Initially, I wasn't going to color in the sky but I am happy I did as my experiment resulted in some funky streaky looking clouds.

Once the coloring was complete, I die cut the panel using the large Frame from the Darling Ribbon Die set and then added my sentiment dies from the Best Friends and the Ever Coordinating Die set. As finishing touches, I added glossy accents added pen details using Wink Of Stella, white and black Jelly Roller pens.

Ink on 3 Blog Hop - Hollyhock Garden Friendship Card and Giveaway!

For today's card, I created a little Hollyhock garden friendship card featuring the new released Hollyhocks set and Coordination dies. To make this card, I began by stamping out the hollyhocks on the right and left side of a piece of A2 sized cardstock using Blackout Ink and then stamping another one onto another piece of cardstock. I then colored the images in using Chameleon Pens. Once I was done coloring, I die cut the center Hollyhock and popped it onto the front of the card with some foam tape.

For the sentiments, I stamped them on to black cardstock with Juicy Ink and using white embossing powder to heat set the words. I then stamped up the sentiments and adhered them to the card with foam tape.
