Santa Sleigh Swing Card ft. Studio Katia's Winter Friends Stamp Set

Today I have another really cute interactive Christmas Card to share with you which part of my 2017 Holiday Card Series over on YouTube. If you haven't seen them make sure you check them out for some really cute inspiration ideas!

So here is my Santa Sleigh Swing Card ft. Studio Katia's Winter Friends Stamp Set.
Isn't it ADORABLE!!! It has to be one of my favorites so far forsure 😍

As you can see from this next photo, Santa's sleigh swings from side to side making it look like he is actually flying through the sky!

There definately is a lot of steps and details to making a card like this but the reults are so worth it! My favorite detail though has to be the addition of the liquid applique to the Santa's hat and suit.

Once I had stamped out my design (lots of masking and some drawing), I then used my Spectrum Noir markers to quickly color the images in. To watch the speed coloring and how this card was put together check out todays video.

Sending You Strength and HUGS Sympathy Card - Die Impression Cut Out

Hello Friends,

I'm back today to share with you a sympathy card I made for my Sisters' friend, who recently lost her mother. Usually I like to make happy cards, so I find sympathy cards challenging to make. I wanted to make it clean and simple card and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I think I will have to make a few more like it to have on hand.

To create the impression on the heart I taped the staked heart dies together and sandwiched the cardstock between the dies and an embossing pad. Doing this just presses the dies into the paper without cutting them leaving this beautiful impression on the cardstock. The I removed the center heart dies leaving only the large die ran that as I normally would to create a die cut.

For the Hugs die, I cut out 3 layers stacked and glued them together. I then used my versamark ink pad and added two layers of silver embossing powder and heat set them. The sentiment strip was created by combining a couple of sentiments from the Essential Sentiment Stamp Set. Not pictured here but the inside was finished with the "with sympathy" stamp.
