Crafty Friend Birthday Card

Hello everyone!

Today I have an example of a quick and simple birthday card you can make for a crafty friend. The Studio Katia Birthday Greetings is packed with wonderful birthday sentiments for both crafty and non-crafty friends. It is definitely one of my go-to stamp sets when I make birthday cards for my crafty friends.

To make the card, I blended a few colors of Distress Oxide Ink on to a piece of Bristol Paper.
I then sprayed the paper with water to lift some of the color. Next, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Halftone Dots Cover Die to add to the colored panel and complete the background. I then glued the background onto a top folding A2 sized black card base. For the greeting, I stamped it on some black cardstock using a white pigment ink and then heat set it with white embossing powder. I then cut the paper into a square shape and added it to the center of the card, popping it up with foam tape. To add some shine and sparkle to the card, I added some April Crystals randomly to the card front.

To the inside of the card, I stamped this greeting onto a white piece of paper that I glued then on the inside panel.
