Honey Bee Stamps Bee Bold Honey Release: Day Two - Happy Beeday Sunflower Card and I'm Sorry Sympathy Card

Hello again! 

Welcome to Day 2 of the Bee Bold Release from Honey Bee Stamps. 

Today's cards feature a bunch of new products from the new release as well some older sets.

I used the new Bee Bold Alpha Dies to die cut the letters for the word Happy and I also used the Beeday sentiment from the new Hi Honey Set for my card sentiments.

This adorable wobbling Bee and beautiful Sunflowers come from the Happy Fall Y'all stamp Set and coordinating dies.

Difficult to see here but I used some glimmer paste to create the clouds in the background using the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencils.

To the inside of the card, I used the new Bee Bold Numeric Dies and stamped out my sentiment by combining a few stamps from the Simple Sentiments set and the Lily the Lamb stamp set.

For my second card I made this clean and simple I Am So Sorry Sympathy card. 

For this background, I used the new Stacking Banner Dies to do some embossing on the panel.

Next, I die cut the sorry of the With Sympathy Dies and glued the two layers together and then added glossy accents to both layers.

I then stamped out my sentiments using phrases from the new coordinating With Sympathy stamp set in white and heat set it with white embossing powder. Added some hearts from the Forrest Friend Dies to embellish and finish the card front.

I also stamped the inside with more stamps from the same set. This stamp set is a great one to have in your stash for all those hard moments in life when you need a sympathy card.

Honey Bee Stamps Bee Bold Honey Release: Day One - Hi Honey Foxy Beeday Card

Hello my Friends!

Hope you are all doing well, I'm currently on vacation. I'm visiting family and vacationing in Portugal. So my blog posts for a little while will be short and sweet as my internet is very limited. Stay tuned though, cause this week is preview week for Honey Bee Stamps Bee Bold release and I made a ton of cards using lots of new products to inspire you.

So here is cute Foxy Beeday a card I made.

I used the new A7 Scallop Rectangle dies on this card. 

The Hi Honey Sentiment Dies are also new for this release as well as the coordinating stamp set. I thought the Hi Honey worked well with this little foxy couple.

I also stamped a few more sentiments from the Hi Honey set to finish off the inside of the card. The cute little bee comes from the Bee Hive stamp set that is also new.

Farm Animal Friendship Card

Hey friends!

Today I have a super sweet Farm Animal friendship card to share with you featuring a bunch of cute supplies from Honey Bee Stamps. 

Most of the card was created by paper piecing all the elements together and there was actually very little stamping involved. I started by cutting out the pieces for Pinky the Pig out of some very pale pink paper. I then use some grey scraps and die cut the little pieces out for the hooves. I then glued all the pieces down to a black piece of cardstock that I had trimmed to the shape of the pig. To add a bit more dimension to Pinky's face I added another layer for his nose and die cut his eyes out from black paper and glued them in place. I then added some rosy cheeks by using a detail blending tool and adding some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink. To finish him off I added some white to the center of his eyes and cheeks. I repeated a similar process for piecing together Lily the Lamb. 

To build the scene, I began by die cutting my square panel using the largest double Stitched Square Die from Bristol paper. Next, I used Broken China Distress Oxide ink to blend out the background behind the animals. I then die cut 3 strips of grass using the grass border die stacked and glued them together and then ran them through the die cutter again with the square stitched die to clean up the edges. To create the swinging fence, I used the Farm Fences die which I cut and glued two layers thick using the bottom layer of the fence posts. I then die cut extra pieces of the bottom layer to connect and extend the length of the fences.

I wanted the fence to be able to open and close on the card front, so I made sure that one of the fence posts overlapped the other. To secure the fences to the sides of the card, I die cut 2 more bottom fence dies, folded and glued a couple of the posts behind the card panel, then bent the rest of the posts to the front of the card. Before doing that, I did cut very thin strips of paper to reinforce the tiny pieces of the fence along the bend. Once the fences were glued in place I added the top layer of the farm fence dies and distressed them a little with some ink. To create the closure, I just punched a hole through the fence post that overlaps the bottom fence and added a brad. By turning the head of the brad you can then open or close the fence as the leg catches on the other side of the fence to hold it in place.

Before gluing Pinky and Lily in place I stamped out the sentiment by masking half of the Small Gang Stamp on the top right of the card and then stamping the rest of the greeting on the inside of the card. I used Broken China Distress Oxide to stamp out the sentiment and heat set it with a clear embossing powder.
