Hello my friends!
Today I'm excited to share with you 3 cards using one stamp set from the newest Simon Says Stamp latest release "Fluttering By". The stamp set I'm using on all three cards today is called Make Your Mark. This set is perfect for adding background details to cards, and I think it would be a great one to have if you are into mixed media projects.
So here is my first card, super bright and cheerful also easy to do!
To "paint" my paint strokes on the card I used distress oxide ink in rainbow colors and the added the border stamp using black strokes along the bottom.
This sentiment stamp comes from the Hand Lettered Encouragement Set. Since the background stamp comes from Make Your "Mark", I thought the You are re"mark"able coordinated perfectly with it.

For my second card, I used all the large circle stamps from the Make Your Mark set to create a coffee like stained background for this super simple card.
I used super fine Copper embossing powder to heat set the stamped circles and added a sentiment from the Coffee and Tea Set. Finished it with a few glossy accented hearts.

For my last card, I used the smaller circle border stamp to create the pattern for my background.
I then used 3 distress oxide inks and blended them together, resulting in soft rainbow colors.
I then stamped out one of the flowers from the Even More Spring Flowers, colored it in, fussy cut it out and popped it up onto the panel. Added the hello sentiment, which I cut in both black and white to create the shadowed effect.
