Easter Blessings Card - Studio Katia's Floral Cross

Happy Easter to all that celebrate this Special Day!

Today I have a simple yet very elegant Easter card to share with you. I have had this Floral Cross stamp in my collection for a while and was feeling guilty that I hadn't used it... must be the Catholic in me, lol! So I figured I better do something with it before Easter had passed, not that the stamp is limited to only Easter but it is SO perfect for it!

I went with a purple color combination as purple reminds me of church during the Lent/Easter Season. I love how this card turned out and I enjoyed coloring in those gorgeous flowers.

To make this card was quite simple. First, I stamped the image using the Juicy Ink  and then used gold embossing powder and heat set it. Then I colored the images in using Prismacolor pencils, I stuck with the pink and purple colors for my images. Next I die cut all the layers and then assembled the card on to a top folding A2 card base. Finished the card with some glossy accents and to the centers of of the flowers I added some gold texture gems.

First Communion Cards | SVGCuts

This past weekend our God Daughter Aleina along with a few other little friends of ours, celebrated their First Holy Communion. Big deal for these young men and women! So of course I had to whip up some Communion cards. 

I think these cards could be used for various other religious events!

The file for the cross, chalice, and dove come from SVGCuts Christian Elements SVG Collection. The base of the card and the layers were created using basic shapes in the Silhouette DE program.
