Thinking Of You Posies Bouquet

Hello Everyone!

Who doesn't like to receive flowers? How about a gorgeous posies Bouquet? Flowers don't always have to be the real ones you know 😉 I know I would love to receive some 💗🎕

Today my card features FB Stamps Posies Stamp set that SOLD out really fast when they were just released. Well the good new is that they are now back in stock again! YAY!

Take a closer look at these pretties. I just love how this card came together!

All I did was a little bit of masking on the base layer of the card and then just cut out one of the flowers and popped it up with some foam in the center of the bouquet. Colored the images in with my Zigs and stamped the sentiment along the edge of the pitcher... and voila!
So pretty 😍

Thinking of You Card

This past weekend we said goodbye to our Parish Priest. 

To be very honest, normally I don't get very attached to them. This one was different. In the short amount of time Father Antonio was with us, which was only 3 years he touched our lives. He was so kind and welcoming, he restored our faith in the church and brought our family back to it as he did many other young families in our community. He will greatly be missed! I hope that his replacement will continue to build on what he has started.  

So of course I had to make him a little good bye/thinking of you card!

Love how this card turned out, I think this would also make a great sympathy card and by changing the sentiment it could also be used to make a very simple wedding card or be used for any other religious celebration.

Here is the recipe for this card:

I was so excited I finally got to use my Church dies from Simon Says Stamp. Hard to see from the picture but I added some clear Wink Of Stella for some shimmer to the church and cut it out 3 times and glued them all together to make it pop up from the background. 

I also got to play with the Brushed Greetings II Stamp Set from Clearly Besotted. I used Versafine Onyx for the stamp and used Wow Clear gloss to emboss the sentiment. 

The background smooshing was created on watercolour paper using Zig Clean Color Water brushes 031,032,041. 

Then I used stitched rectangles from Simon Says to cut it out.

Mounted it onto a textured A2 card from Michael's.

To finish I used some sparkly clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins.
