My card today features the new AUTUMN STAMPS and coordinating word DIES, I also used one of the layers of the LOVELY LAYERS MAPLE LEAF DIES. For the background, I used a variety of alcohol inks on Yupo paper that I then cut into squares and popped up with foam tape. Love this super simple design. Hey BOO! | Halloween Light Up Interactive Card | Studio Katia

Well Hey, Boo! 

Today I have a special little card for you! Not only is this little pumpkin adorable, it is also interactive and lights up for the recipient. How fun is that?! I am so addicted to these new to me EZ-lights that I'm sure you will be seeing a lot more of these light-up cards in the future!

  CARD DETAILS

Here is how I made this card:

• Die-cut 2 HALF STRIPED COVER frames, one orange, and one purple.
• Rotate one Striped Cover over the other 90 degrees and glue together onto a white card panel.
• Die-cut the top, bottom, and frame pieces for the pumpkin using the SHAKER PUMPKIN DIES
• Glue the bottom of the pumpkin onto the center of the card panel.
• Punch a hole through both the card panel and the pumpkin base (somewhere where it won't be seen from the face openings.
• Add vellum behind the pumpkin face and add foam tape to the outer edges of the pumpkin's face.

• Thread the EZ-Light wire from behind the panel through the hole you punched through the panel. 
• Tape down each EZ-Light so that the light is able to shine through the vellum areas of the pumpkin's face. ( I taped them behind the top orange pumpkin layer)  
• Line up the pumpkin's face with the back layer and adhere them together with the foam tape.
• Glue down the pumpkin's frame around the pumpkin.
• Insert the battery and tape down the EZ-Light push button behind the area you want the recipient to push down on. Test the push area.
• Tape the excess wires to the pack of the card panel, leaving room along with the edges to add foam around the border. 

• Attach to the card base.
• Die-cut the letters from glitter craft foam using the CHUNKY ALPHABET and arrange and press onto the card front.
• Instead of writing push or press on the area, I used the Miss You stamp from the SWEET HEART CANDY.
• To finish, embellish with your favorite bling. (I used RIPE PERSIMMON PEARLS and AMETHYST PEARLS).

Now let's see how cool it looks when you light it up!

Hello Fall Sunflower Slimline Scene | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. 

I am back today with this Hello Fall Sunflower Slimline Scene using die cuts only. The perfect card to send a friend this season just to let them know you are thinking about them. I mixed and matched a few die sets to come up with the design and I hope you are inspired by it. I love sunflowers, so this was a great excuse to make some.

CARD DETAILS

Here's how you can recreate this card.

1. Begin by die cutting the frame and background using the SLIMLINE SENTIMENTS EYELET DIES from cardstock that blends well. (I used Bristol Paper)
2. Blend the background panel. (I used VINTAGE PHOTO and BROKEN CHINA Oxide Ink) 
3. Use the PUMPKIN PATCH STENCIL to blend out falling leaves in the sky and on the ground.

1. Die-cut a few clouds using the LARGE CLOUDS DIES. Glue onto the top part of the panel. Trim off any excess that hangs over the edge.
2. Die-cut the petals and centers for the sunflowers from the FALL BOUQUETS HONEY CUTS.  Ink up edges of the petals and curl them to add dimension. Glue the layers together. ( I used a gold glitter cardstock under the flower centers)
3. Die-cut stems and leaves for the sunflowers using the dies from STITCHED FLOWERS HONEY CUTS. Glue stems behind the flower heads.
4. Arrange the sunflowers as you wish and glue onto the card panel. Glue leaves in place.

1. Die-cut the hello from the SLIMLINE SENTIMENTS EYELET DIES, position, and glue in place.
2. Die-cut the letters for the word Fall. I used both the BEE BOLD ALPHABET CUTS and the BEE BOLD LOWERCASE DIES. Arrange and glue in place.
3. Add extra leaves from using dies from the FALL BOUQUETS | HONEY CUTS. (I inked them up with various fall colors, see oxide inks links below. I also used gold glitter ones too).

1. Cut out a slimline sized card base (9x8inches). The finished card measures 9 inches tall by 4 inches wide.
2. To finish the card, glue the slimline background onto the card base and add the scalloped edging that was die cut from the first step.

Sending Fall Hugs Pumpkin Patch Card | Ink On 3

Hello Friends!

Today I am sharing the cutest Fall Card for Ink On 3. I'm not sure what the weather is like in your part of the world, but here in Edmonton it definitely feels like Fall has arrived. The colors are changing, the leaves are falling and the air is crisp.  Nevertheless, it is my favorite season so I will try to enjoy it while it lasts.

  CARD DETAILS

Here's how today's card was made:

• Using BLACKOUT INK, stamp out the pumpkin images from the PUMPKIN FRIENDS and the PUMPKIN PATCH stamp sets.
• Color images in (I used Copic Markers and Prisma Color Pencils).
• Fussy cut the PUMPKIN FRIENDS.
• Use the COORDINATING PUMPKIN PATCH die to create a partial die cut (cut along the top of the pumpkin patch only).

• Color any white spaces using a black Copic marker.
• For the background. Use a circle mask/stencil to create a moon for the sunset.
• Blend out the colors for the sunset sky (I used ATELIER MY PURPLE JAM,  ATELIER MARILYN RED, and ATELIER BEE STING YELLOW) Blend the same colors over the moon with light pressure.
• Stamp out the sentiment. Sending from HEY GORGEOUS, Fall from BUNNY HUGS, and Hugs from FOX AND BUNNY HUGS.
• Glue the colored PUMPKIN PATCH images onto the background panel. Trim panel. Glue onto the card base.

• Add the fussy cut PUMPKIN FRIENDS images onto the card front using foam tape.
• Add white gel pen details to highlight the images.
• Use LIQUID PIXIE DUST to add sparkle to the image (I used it only on the red flowers).
