Fall Pumpkin Floral Bouquet | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello friends!

Today I have a beautiful fall pumpkin floral bouquet featuring the beautiful FALL BOUQUETS | HONEY CUTS from the Autumn Blessings Release. Sunflowers are my favorite fall flowers so I just had to create a sunflower bouquet.

CARD DETAILS

Once I die cut all my pieces for the bouquet using the FALL BOUQUETS | HONEY CUTS, I inked up all the edges to add dimension to the die cuts. To the yellow petals and the leaves, I used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink that I applied lightly with the DETAIL BLENDER BRUSHES. To the pumpkin, I also blended out Ripe Persimmons Distress Oxide Ink along the bottom and along the creases up the pumpkin sides.

Next, I assembled the flowers. I used foam tape in between each layer to add depth to them. I also curled up each petal before gluing the flower together. The centers were cut using the same brown colored cardstock. To make the bottom layer darker I also rubbed on some Vintage Photo Oxide ink, then glued the two layers together and popped it into the center of the flowers.

After completing the flowers, I set them aside to work on the card base. I die cut a white piece of cardstock out using the large frame from the SCALLOP A2 FRAME HONEY CUTS and glued it to the card base. I then blended out a light layer of Broken China Distress Oxide ink to the center of the background.

I then played with the layout of the arrangement until I was happy with the design. I began by gluing down the pumpkin to the background and then attached the lower two sunflowers directly to the pumpkin. To top sunflower I used a couple of layers of foam to pop it up a little higher than the other two. I then glued the leaves in place. To create the vines, I cut thin strips of cardstock and rolled them around a pen and then glued the ends in place.

To finish the card I stamped the Thankful for you sentiment along the bottom from the FABOOLOUS SENTIMENTS set and then added a couple of gem stickers from the PERFECT PETALS GEM STICKERS, and that is pretty much how this card came together.

Simple Teacher Thank You Cards Done 3 Ways | Studio Katia

Hello friends!

This week my kids went back to school, by this point I'm pretty sure they are one of the last ones to start. I'm not going to lie, and even though we had a great summer together, I am happy they are back in school and I have a little more time to myself, lol! Today, I want to share with you three similar yet different cards to have on hand for teacher thank you cards that will be given to them at some point throughout the year.

CARD DETAILS

All cards were done the same way as you'll notice but with different background colors, layout and sentiments.

The first thing I did was repeat stamping with all the Kobi's and the apples using the stamps from the KOBI LOVES SCHOOL stamp set. I then colored each Kobi in different grey tones using Copic markers and their backpacks various colors.

I then used the coordinating KOBI LOVES SCHOOL dies to die cut the images, and set them all aside to blend out some backgrounds. For this background, I blended out picked raspberry, mustard seed, and peacock feathers oxide inks.  I then toped the background using the GRID COVER die. For the sentiments, I used the SCRIPT TEACHER die and the Thanks Die from the A CUP OF THANKS dies that I die cut, stacked and glued three layers together. I then embellished the apple and Kobi's nose with glossy accents and added some SILVER FEVER FUSION sequins to the card front.

This next card was done the same way only this time I blended the background using mustard seed and blueprint sketch oxide inks. As well the placement of the elements are centered and the apple is incorporated into the SCRIPT TEACHER die cuts by gluing it to the top of the "a".

I also heat embossed the YOU RULE sentiment from KOBI LOVES SCHOOL in white on black cardstock.

For this last card, I was going for a fall-inspired background so used ripe persimmons, candied apple and mowed lawn oxide inks on the background.

Again I used the same SCRIPT TEACHER die stacked and the embossed sentiment from the KOBI LOVE SCHOOL stamp set.

Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Blessings Blog Hop | Day 2 + Giveaway

Happy Weekend Friends and welcome to Day 2 of Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Release!

I just got back from vacation so I missed out on the inspiration week but have a few fun cards to share with you today. If you love Fall like I do you are going to love this release, it is amazing! So let's show you my cards first and then I will fill you in later with Hop details and prizes.

Many moons ago, (21 years next month) I got married in the Fall. It has always been my favorite season and the inspiration for my first card today. Although I was thinking of my own Anniversary I think this card would also make a great Wedding Card.

CARD DETAILS

I began by this card by stamping out both the WOODGRAIN BACKGROUND and the GRATEFUL HEART onto Bristol paper and then heat setting the watermark ink with a gold embossing powder.

I then colored the little images in with Zig Clean Color Brush markers. Once dry I die cut the heart using the coordinating GRATEFUL HEART | HONEY CUTS.

Next, I die cut the FALL | HONEY CUTS, glued and stacked them. I cut the shadow layer out using gold glitter. I also stamped out the In Love from the FALL stamp set that I embossed in white on black cardstock. For embellishments, I wrapped some twine across the card and added a couple of the SOCIAL BUTTERFLY butterflies to which I glued on some gems from the PERFECT PETALS GEM STICKERS.

For this next card, I began by blending out the background using distress oxide inks onto Bristol paper. I then spritzed the paper and picked up the water with a paper towel. I set this aside to completely dry before coming back to it and finishing it off with the BEE KIND from the WOW! + HONEY BEE EMBOSSING POWDER TRIO To complete the background I die cut it out using the frame from the DECKLE EDGE A2 HONEY CUTS set.

The compass comes from the new LOST WITHOUT YOU stamp set that I stamped multiple times in black ink and also a watermark ink that I then embossed using gold embossing powder. I then used coordinating dies to either die cut some of the pieces or cut out some of the images I had stamped out previously.

For the sentiment, I used the EXPLORE stamp and the HONEY CUTS.

And for an extra pop of color, I added some hearts that I die cut using the STACKING HEARTS | HONEY CUTS. I then finished them off by adding some glossy accents.
