Welcome Little One Card - Flying Stork on a Sliding Track

Hello dear friends!

I finally got my Oh Baby Stamp set from Simon Says Stamp Best Days release. It is such a darling  sweet set and perfect for the new arrivals in life.

Here is the fun interactive Welcome Little One - Flying Stork on a Sliding Track card I made with some of the cute images from the set. Scroll through the first three photos to see the stork movement.

Adding a track to the card was quite simple and quick to do.
Once all my images were colored and cut out, I used a very small piece of paper that I added a score line to and then added one to the back of the stork and bag. Before gluing the pieces in place behind the images I ran a very thin clear thread and placed it in the scored groove I had made. Once the pieces were dry I wrapped the thread around the front panel of the card and secured the ends on to the back with tape. Make sure you do not get any adhesive on the thread as this will prevent the images  from sliding smoothly on the track. Next, popped up the panel onto the card front and added the remainder of the details to the card front. Speaking of details, the clouds were made with the polka dot stamp from the set. I used distress ink and stamped the dots to create the cloud shape. Check out the links below to see all the supplies I used in today's card.

I'm Bats About You Moving Spinner Card - A Halloween Countdown Series - Card #4

Hello and welcome back to my Halloween Countdown! 

Today is my last an final post for this series😅 Phewww, I did it!!! Yay me!

This Halloween countdown was mostly done to challenge myself creatively. I wanted to be able to use one stamp set to create 4 interactive cards. Not sure why I feel compelled to create my cards this way because sometimes they are a tone of work, but I do enjoy making them and figuring out how to make them work. Instead of clean and simple (CAS) I call my cards clean and complicated, LOL! Hopefully they will inspire you to create some interactive cards too!

For this last card #4, I'm Bats About You Spinner Card, featuring MFT's Witch Way Is the Candy Stamp set I wanted to create a different kind of spinner. If you have been following me you will notice some similarities to a previous moon card I made HERE. 

The bad part of photographing an interactive card is that you can't see the movement in a still photo. So I hope you watch my video to fully appreciate it.  This card features the first Witch I colored in my speed coloring video. I really love how this card turned and hope you do too!

Here is a closer look.
I just love how easy it is to create awesome backgrounds with distress inks. And I love, love, love the metallic gold splatters in the background and how it also pops off the edge of the card.

This time I added my sentiment to the inside of the card.
