Christmas Blessings Wreath Card | Simon Says STAMPtember | Etched Eucalyptus Wreath

CARD DETAILS

Well, I guess this will be my first official Christmas card of the year. I was resisting making one as long as possible as I didn't want to be reminded of our long cold winters, so I'm praying for a short one, lol!

My card features the new ETCHED EUCALYPTUS WREATH Die from the STAMPtember release.

Here's how this card was made:

• Die-cut ETCHED EUCALYPTUS WREATH Die using Silver Glitter and Green Cardstock. Glue both together, overlapping different areas.
• Glue wreath onto a white cardstock piece that has been die-cut using a frame from the STITCHED RECTANGLES Die Set.
• Use foam tape to mount onto a red cardstock A2 sized panel that has been glued onto the card base.

• Die-cut the CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS DIES three times using Black cardstock. Stack and glue together.
• Position Die Sentiments on the card front, centered on the wreath and glue.

• Finish embellishing the card with pearl details.

AlexSyberiaDesign May Digi Stamp Release Blog Hop + Giveaway | Kokeshi Doll Friendship Cards

Hello Friends! 

Welcome to Alex Syberia Design May Release Blog Hop and Giveaway. I will have all those details at the end of this post. I am in love with these Kokeshi dolls from Alex's release and had so much fun creating these two colorful Kokeshi Doll Friendship Cards. 

CARD DETAILS

For my first card, I combined the KOKESHI DOLL FUMIKO and the FULL BLOOM digital stamps. I used Paint 3D to manipulate and layer the designs, there are various programs out there and tutorials on how to use digital stamps so I will not explain that process. 

I then printed the images out onto Neenah Solar White 80lbs paper and colored the images in using Copic markers.

Next, I trimmed the panel and added it to a black cardstock piece cut to fit an A2 card base.

I then stamped a sentiment from Studio Katia's BLOOMING BUNCH stamp set and added some BLOSSOM SPARKLE CRYSTALS. To finish this card off I added some white gel pen detailing and then some glossy accents to add more dimension and shine.

This next card was printed and colored the same way as the previous card. This time using the KOKESHI DOL MITSUKI and again the FULL BLOOM digital stamps.

This time I trimmed the panel a little more to create a larger border around the panel.

The stamp I used here comes from the YOU GOT THIS stamp set from Simon Says Stamp that I curved along the body of the KOKESHI DOL MITSUKI digital stamp.

 

To finish up this card, I added some GOLD SPARKLE CRYSTALS and once again used white gel pen detailing and glossy accents to add more dimension and shine.

Graduation Cards | Simon Says Stamp | Sunny Days Ahead Release

Yay, Simon Says Stamp is Shipping Again! So happy to hear because I need to do some shopping 😁

My cards today feature the new GRAD HAT DIES from the SUNNY DAYS AHEAD Release. These were all pretty quick and simple to make and will be perfect to send to a 2020 Graduate that will need some extra love this year.

CARD DETAILS

For this first card, I cut out the GRAD HATS using only the top layer of the die using various colors of cardstock to create a rainbow of hats. I then pieced and glued them together. 

To the middle of the square card, I stamped out the "Heck Yeah" from the CZ Design TABBED SENTIMENTS stamp set.

I then arranged the hats in a circle pattern, making them as equally distanced as possible and then popped them in place using foam tape.

To embellish and finish the card I added some PRISM GEM stickers and just glued it to a black square 5-inch card panel.

For this next card, I used the GRAD HAT DIES again, cutting both layers using black cardstock. I did stack a couple of the top layers together to create dimension. For the tassel, I used a silver foil cardstock and then just added a black gem to the center of the hat and tassel.

Next, I stamped the sentiments onto the card panel using stamps from the CZ DESIGN GREAT THINGS stamp set. Before gluing the hat in place, I die cut the panel using a frame from the STITCHED RECTANGLES Dies.

I then popped the panel up with foam tape and adhered it to grey cardstock that I had glued onto an A2 sized card base.

The GRAD HAT on this last card was done the same way as the previous card only using white on the tassel and a clear stone on the center of the cap.

I then just die cut the top card piece of cardstock using the BEST DAY EVER DIE and used the negative piece. Behind it, I glued the negative die cut pieces onto a piece of back cardstock that I then popped up using black foam tape. I then trimmed down the top panel leaving a black border and glued that onto the card base.

To finish the card I added some SILVER FEVER FUSION SEQUINS on the card front.

And that is pretty much how I created these simple graduation cards. I love how they turn out.

I'm sure this was not what any one of them ever imagined would be happening during their final year of school, but more then ever they need to be celebrated and get the recognition that they deserve. Frameless Thanks Shaker Card Set | DieCember | Simon Says Stamp

Yay! It's DieCember at Simon Says Stamp, so if you love dies you will love this DieCember Release!

For my cards today I thought it would be fun to create some more Frameless Shaker Cards to showcase the new Large Outline Thanks Die. Click →HERE for instructions and a how-to video on how to make Frameless Shakers cards using no frame, no foam or no sleeves.

CARD DETAILS

I love the versatility of this Large Outline Thanks Die. So many ways to use it. You can split up the die cuts and used the letters separately, together with the outline or without. SO many ways to combine the pieces or use them all together like I have in my examples.

Once my shakers were made and attached to the card base, all I did was adhere the Large Outline Thanks Diecuts onto the card front.

I used the die to cut out four different papers, and then mixed and matched them to piece it all together.

To pop up the letters I added foam tape behind each letter die cut.

Super simple and easy to do!

I think I made all of these in less than an hour.

For the shaker bits, I just used sequins or confetti to coordinate with the colors I used.

I love how they turned out.
