Waffle Flower recently sent me some of their new shader brushes to play with. For this project, I used the 1+ shaders to add color and I am so impressed with the results. They add so much color with minimal effort! Here is a visual of all the new brushes. These brushes will definitely elevate your ink-blending game!

The Background was done by using the Hot Foil System and the Speckled Prism Glimmer Hot Foil Roll.

The true magic of these brushes unfolded as they seamlessly blended vibrant hues of yellow, pink, and blue, creating a mesmerizing rainbow of colors on my canvas. To do this, I partially colored each area with one color using the Ornaments Coloring Stencil and wiped each layer of color before blending on the next color.

You're Amazing Rainbow Forest Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Welcome back, crafty friends! 

In honor of Pride Month, I am combining two great things— my love of all things rainbow and acts of kindness in support of our LGBTQ+ friends—to create a vibrant and heartwarming card. Our world more than ever needs more love and less hate. 

CARD RECIPE

Begin by selecting a piece of sturdy cardstock in a size suitable for your card base. I used Canson Watercolor paper for this 5x7 Card. Apply a rainbow spectrum of Distress Oxide Inks onto the paper panel. Start with the lightest color and gradually work your way across to the darkest color. (See links below for colors used).

Using a distress brayer apply black ink to the raised side of the Into The Woods 3D Embossing Folder.

Place the cardstock inside the embossing folder and run it through your die-cutting machine, following the manufacturer's instructions. This will create a beautiful raised rainbow pattern on your cardstock with a dark background to contrast the colors. Trim the panel and add it to a 5x7 Card Base. I used a piece of craft foam to slightly pop it off the card base.

On black cardstock, stamp the sentiment "Just wanted to say" from the Mini Messages Stamps and the You're Amazing" from the Big Time Kindness Stamp set using Bee Creative Brilliant White Pigment Ink and heat setting them in white Emb. Powder. Use coordinating dies from sets to die and cut them out and glue them to the center of the card panel.

For a touch of sparkle, I added glue to the tree lines and then sprinkled it with some glitter while the glue was still wet.

And there you have it—a stunning, rainbow-inspired card bursting with love and kindness! This Pride Month, celebrate diversity and spread joy by creating your own handmade cards. Ink-Blended Rainbow Carrots for a Vibrant Easter Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Easter is a time for new beginnings, fresh starts, and the celebration of the beauty of nature. What better way to capture the essence of this season than by creating a colorful and vibrant Easter card that features the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers: Carrots done in Rainbow colors! This card is perfect for sending well wishes and joy to your loved ones this Easter season.

CARD RECIPE

To get started, you will need the Lovely Layers: Carrots Dies, the Daisy Field - 3D Embossing Folder, the Bee Narrow Upper Case Alpha Dies, and the Simply Spring Paper Pad. You will also need a few additional supplies, including cardstock, blending tools, and ink pads in a rainbow of colors.

First, take the Daisy Field - 3D Embossing Folder and run a piece of white cardstock through your embossing machine to create a beautiful 3D background. Then, take the Lovely Layers: Carrots Dies and die-cut several carrots out of white cardstock.

Next, use your blending brushes and ink pads to create a rainbow of colors on each of the carrot die-cuts. Using blending brushes and ink pads in rainbow colors, blend each carrot from one color to the next, making sure to blend the colors together smoothly. Leave the stems green for contrast.

Once you have finished blending all of your carrot die-cuts, arrange them together in a bunch and glue them onto the embossed background. Use the Bee Narrow Upper Case Alpha Dies to cut out the word "Happy Easter" from black cardstock. For a thicker look, die-cut four of each letter and stack them together. Use a T-square to help straighten and space out the letters, then use tape to keep them in place before adhering them with glue.

Finally, mat your embossed background onto a coordinating piece of cardstock from the Simply Spring Paper Pad, die-cut first with the largest Scallop A2 Frame Die. Mount the entire piece onto a blank card base using adhesive. For a touch of sparkle, tie a bow with a copper-colored fine glitter thread and add a pearl from the Spring Pearl set.

With a little creativity and the right tools, you can create a beautiful and unique Easter card that will bring a smile to anyone's face. So get crafting and have fun making something special for your loved ones this Easter season.
