Rainbow Mums Teapot Arrangement Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello friends and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I was able to get away for a girl's Spa weekend to celebrate my beautiful Sister-in-law's 40th Birthday. I didn't realize how much I need that 😜

Anyways, on to today's card. As you can see I can't stay away from making rainbows whenever I can. This card features all new goodies from the Honey Bee Stamp Spooktacular Release.

CARD RECIPE

• Die cut all the pieces for the Lovely Layers Mum Dies from white card stock. I die cut an extra small Mum for this arrangement.
• Ink Blend each layer of the Mum in a different color of the rainbow. Try to go in rainbow order. I used Atelier Inks from Inkon3 for my rainbow colors. 
• Curl petal ends slightly, assemble and glue flowers together. Use foam in between layers for extra dimension.
• Die cut the Tea Pot base. I used gold foil cardstock as I didn't want it to compete with any other color.

• For the background, I used the Fanciful A2 Foil Plate to create a dry embossed textured panel by running it through my Die Cutter with the impression mat. I then trimmed it and added it to an A2 size card base.
• Next, I glued the Teapot and flower arrangement to the card front.

• For the sentiment, I stamped the Hello from the Fall Foliage Frame Stamp set on vellum using the Bee Creative Clear Embossing Ink with white embossing powder. 
• Die cut the Hello with the coordinating die from the Fall Foliage Frame Die set.
• Stamp out the my friend from the same stamp set only this time use black ink on white paper and die cut.
• Finish the card by adding some water like drops from the Shimmer and Shine Enamel Sticker set.
• For extra sparkle add some glue to the center of the flower and sprinkle on some glitter.

Lovely Layers Peony Miss You Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello, again my crafty friends,

This has been a busy week for me both personally and crafty related. I hope you aren't tired of all the posts, but I promise it is the last blog post for this week... Monday we shall start a new week, lol!

CARD RECIPE

This card started by die-cutting all the pieces for the new Lovely Layers: Peony using white cardstock. I then added colors to the layers by Inkblending different shades of purple distress Oxide inks, starting from the darkest color to the lightest. See links below. Once the ink blending was done, I then pieced it together using Foam Dots.

The Peony was then glued onto a background I created by using the Spring Leaves A2 Pierced Cover Plate then die cut the scallop border using one of the Scalloped A7 Frame Dies.

For the sentiment, I actually cheated as I had previously foiled a bunch of sentiments from a previous project. The sentiment was foiled in gold and comes from the Small Card Hot Foil Plates. I added the scalloped edge to the strip by using the same Scalloped A7 Frame Die.

For a touch of bling, I used the new Aurora Borealis Gem Stickers. I then added foam dots to the pierced panel and glued them to an Ivory 5X7 Card base.

I hope you love this card as much as I do. I will be away most of the weekend from social media as I have to attend 3 Communions, 2 Confirmations, and a Celebration of Life, (all of which I am a part of, Lord help me! Hopefully, everything runs smoothly).

Thinking of You Freesia Floral Card | Studio Katia

Hello friends and Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a Spring inspired friendship card to share with you all featuring one of the newer stamp sets from Studio Katia called Darling Freesia.

CARD RECIPE

• Stamp out the Darling Freesia using watermark ink and heat set the gold embossing powder onto watercolor safe paper. I used Bristol paper.
• Watercolor the flower. I used Karin Brush Pro Markers.
• Die-cut using the coordinating Freesia Dies.
• Stamp sentiments onto Banners.
• Die-cut banners and create an offset using the same dies and gold foil cardstock.
• Create the card base by die-cutting the Mini Polka Dots Cover and gluing it to a card base with a small hinge at the top to attach the front panel.
• To the front panel add the gold pierced frame from the Darling Ribbons and Frames.
• Add foam tape to the back of the card elements ad attach them to the card front.
• Finish by adding some Marshmallow Pearls.
