Hello, my Friends. How are you all doing?

Not sure how things are in your part of the world because of COVID, but here we are still not able to visit with friends or family. This year has been hard even for an introvert like me,😆 but I can honestly say I miss haggin' with my peeps! With Easter around the corner, this would make a great card to send to someone you are missing.

CARD RECIPE

 (See supply list in thumbnails below)

• Stamp out images from the EASTER BUDDIES stamp set using Copic-friendly ink.
• Color in images using Copic Markers.
• Die-cut images using the Coordinating EASTER BUDDIES DIES. Set aside.

• Mask off the background of the card panel using a circle from the CIRCLE SPOTLIGHT STENCIL.
• Using BACKGROUND BLENDER BRUSHES, blend out the blue sky.
• To the bottom of the circle blend out some green hills using the GRASSY HILLS BORDER STENCILS. 
• Arrange the stamped images and adhere to the card panel. 
• Stamp out the sentiment from the EASTER BUDDIES stamp set.
• Add the die-cut MISS letters to the top using the TAILGATE ALPHABET DIES (three layers).
• Trim the panel and attach it to a square card base using foam tape.

• Embellish card using, white gel pen details, liquid pixie dust for shine, Glossy Accents, and add a little CLAY CARROT to the bunny's hands.

Good Day my friends!

I have been missing my friends so much lately, and I am sure many of you are as well. So I thought I would make a Missing You Friendship Card to share with you all today.

CARD DETAILS

Here is my recipe for creating this card.

• Stamp out the Coffee Cup images from the LOVE YOU S'MORE using FADEOUT INK for no-line coloring.
• Color using Copic Markers.
• Die-cut the images with the coordinating LOVE YOU S'MORE DIES.
• To the travel cup, I added some glitter to the die-cut heart that comes from the LOVE YOU S'MORE DIES.

• Die-cut all the layers of the LATTE Script dies and piece together. (I die cut 3 of the top layers for more dimentsion.)
• Stamp out the sentiments from the LATTE Stamp set. (I used ATELIER TWIGGY BROWN Ink on a little brown cardstock scrap.)
• Use the SENTIMENT BANNER DIES to die cut the stamped sentiments.

• The background was created by blending out ATELIER TWIGGY BROWN ink using the BACKGROUND BLENDER BRUSHES and the COFFEE BEAN STENCIL.
• A layer of MOONSTONE GLIMMER PASTE was then applied over top the stencil for added sparkle and texture.

• Arrange and adhere all the elements to the background.
• Trim the panel.
• Use foam tape to glue the background horizontally onto a side folding A2 card base.
• Add white gel highlights where desired.
• Send to a friend!

Have a Colorful Day Inspiration Cards | Spellbinders | GOM September 2020

Hello, dear crafty friends!

Today I have a set of rainbow cards to share with you using the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month for September 2020 "Have a Colorful Day" Glimmer Hot Foil Plates. I had so much fun creating these cards that I actually had to stop myself from creating more. If you know me you know how much I love rainbows!

CARD DETAILS

Here is how these cards were made.

Start by plugging in the HOT FOIL SYSTEM. Use the RAINBOW Glimmer Foil and trim it down to size using the plates you want to use as guides. Once the system is ready and the plates are hot, run the foil sandwich through the PLATINUM 6 DIE CUTTING PLATFORM. For this card, I only foiled the Shine Bright Sentiment from the EVERYDAY SENTIMENTS II.

I then used the rainbow and cloud dies to cut out the rainbow and pieced it together. Luckily I had some rainbow craft foam scraps that coordinated perfectly. I then inlaid the gold arches.

To finish the card I used some iridescent raindrops.

For this next card, I used the striped arches to foil the rainbow onto the card front again using the RAINBOW Glimmer Foil. I then foiled the sentiment using a BLACK Glimmer Foil and used the RECTANGLE ETCHED DIES to trim down the panel.

Next, I used the negative of the gold glitter rainbow from the previous card to outline the striped arches and added a couple of silver glitter clouds to complete the rainbow design.

To the card base, I added a rainbow border using the GLIMMER RECTANGLE GLIMMER PLATES.

For this third card, I began by foiling the MODERN LINES GLIMMER PLATE across the bottom of the card panel. I used the rainbow die to figure out where to position the ached sentiment and then used the RAINBOW Glimmer Foil once again to foil onto the paper.

I then die cut another rainbow using silver glitter foil paper and used the negative piece only and inlaid the rainbow craft foam from the first card. To finish this card I popped on the two clouds.

This last card took the longest to make as I used the same rainbow plate on different spots of the card front.

To the center rainbow on the card front, I added the silver glitter paper to fill it in and then added a sentiment strip that was done using SILVER Glimmer Foil on black cardstock. 

And this card was complete after I added all the cute little clouds. I hope you enjoyed this cheerful rainbow-inspired cards.
