I Can Explain... Funny/Apology Card ft. Honey Bee Stamps

 Hello friends!

Today I have a super cute card to share with you all that funny enough was inspired by real life 😜 I wish I could tell you that my kids get along and play well together, but in reality they don't. I think they love annoying each other and it sometimes drives me nuts😒

Anyways, I thought it would be cute to represent them in today's card. Since my son is the oldest, I thought it would be fun to make it look like he was the blue bunny, sitting (more like squashing) his little sister, the pink bunny! Thankfully, they are a little older now so it doesn't actually get physical, but when they were little I would find them like this all the time, lol!

To create the card, I began by stamping the bunny from the Blah Humbunny stamp set and then masking it. Then I stamped the bunny from Blah Bunny set underneath the first bunny. Next, I added my sentiment and heat embossed it. Then added the little bee in the top right corner and colored in my Spring scene. I began by adding some clouds to the sky using broken China distress oxide ink and using cloud stencil from the Outdoor Scene Builder stencil set. Next, I colored my images in using tombow dual brush markers. Once my coloring was complete I did some partial die cutting around the blue bunny to make it look like he was popped out and leaning forward on top of the bottom bunny. Finally, I die cut the front panel using the large rectangle double stitched frame and added foam tape to pop it off the card front.

To my inside I had to add my explanation...

and like all kids, (well mine anyways) there is always and excuse, haha.

So, of course the "Bee" did it!

So Happy Together Interactive Spinner/Shaker Friendship Card ft. Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Crafty Friends, 

I am beyond excited to share with you my very first project for Honey Bee Stamps, I'm calling this my So Happy Together Interactive Spinner/Shaker Friendship Card.... What a mouthful! The perfect card to send a friend you are really missing 😁

Hard to see but this little beauty is not only a shaker, but it has an arm beneath the hive that spins all around to give it the illusion that the little bees are flying around it.

As you can see in the image below the bees are in a different position now.

The hive turned shaker was created by stacking 7 of these hexagon bunches together and adding an acetate layer before adhering the top die cut. I then filled each hexagon with a few Sunny Day Sequins and added a back layer to hold them all in place. The little bees are glued onto the end of an acetate arm that has a hole in the center which allows for the arm to spin around a disk.

To finish off the inside of the card I thought it would be cute add the missing you sentiment to make it appear like the little be was lonely without her friend from the front of the card.
