Portuguese Christmas Ornaments

This past weekend the Portuguese School that my kids attend celebrated their Annual Christmas Concert. This year they also had their very first silent auction. I thought I could contribute by donating some of my Portuguese themed floating ornaments.

Here are a few of my favorites!

Eu te Amo means I love you in Portuguese!

I LOVE this one... it has to be my favorite, probably because it is SO true! Good thing I kept this one for myself because I just noticed that some of the letters went on a little crooked, oops!

This one was inspired by my daughter, who sometimes thinks she's a princess, lol!
Love it!

To watch a how to video, I found one similar to the process I did mine for those of you that are interested in how to make your own. They are actually easier than you think!

There is still plenty of time to make a few before Christmas!!! All you need is vinyl, transparency sheets, transfer tape and glass or plastic ornaments and of course a Silhouette Machine!

For those of you interested here are the Silhouette Studio Files FREE for Download!

Can you believe Christmas is almost here!?! WOW, how time just flies so quickly!

Today I want to share with you my latest SVG Cuts DT project, it's a perpetual Christmas Block Calendar! For the complete how-to's click HERE and check out the SVG Cuts Inspiration Page.

For those of you interested in winning all of these kits listed below, make sure you leave a "comment" and "like" on the SVG Cuts Facebook Fan Page where they shared this project! HURRY, it's for a limited time only! Good luck, that's a lot of kits!!!

The calendar part is actually quite simple to make... if you can assemble boxes you can make this piece. Once Christmas is done you can put the tree and presents away and use it for the rest of the year! Make other little miniature decorations for upcoming holidays, have fun, and be creative!

Hope you guys liked my take on a perpetual Block Calendar, if you make one please share it with us on the SVG Cuts Fan Page. We always love seeing the fan's different take on projects!

3D Paper Snowy House Treat Box | SVGCuts

I finally got around to making the 3D Snowy house box from Winter's Chill SVG Kit, and I absolutely love how it turned out! How cute is that!?! I've had this file in my SVG stash forever, and I can't believe it took me this long to make it!!!

Christmas Gift,SVG Cuts files,treat box,#SVGCuts,Gift Box,luminary,decoration,Christmas Decor,3D Snowy House Box,ilovedoingallthingscrafty,

This little house is a gift in itself but it's also big enough to add some gifts or goodies. Add a tea light to the inside and watch it glow! Make a few more and you have the beginnings of a paper Christmas village!

To add a more Christmasy look to it, I added a wreathe to the front of the house from the latest Santa's Surprises SVG Kit and shrunk it down quite a bit. I love how festive the house looks!

Hope you like my take on this SVG Cuts 3D Snowy House Box, hopefully, will have some time to tackle the Mistletoe Manor soon!

Woodland Baby Shower Cake

Today I am so super excited to share with you all my Woodland Baby Shower Cake! Yay!!! So very happy with how it turned out! How cute is that!?!

This cake was very different then cakes I have made in the past. This time I covered the cake with modeling chocolate, and the smell of this cake was unbelievable!!! Wish there was a scratch and sniff button you could push to smell it, lol! Honestly, I wish I had tried using modelling chocolate long ago! I know I'll be using it a lot more in the future too ;)

Here are some more pics of my little woodland critters!
How adorable are they!?! I made them ahead of time out of fondant so that they would have plenty of time to harden.

This cake was a 2 layer 9 inch round cake. Top part vanilla, bottom is chocolate flavored. Iced in buttercream and covered with ganache. Finished off with modelling chocolate! Can you say yummy?

Congrats to soon to be "Vovo" (Grandma) Connie who requested I make her this Woodland Baby Shower Cake for her soon to be Grandson! Wishing the family all the best :)

(cut one extra box and enlarged it)

Tag - Party Hat Tag from Celebrations 3D SVG Kit
(deleted cut lines, folded in half)

(cut smallest box and resized it)

How cute is that tag?
The stamp I used comes from Craftin Desert Divas Happy Celebrations Stamp Set

This gorgeous double sided paper has been sitting in my stash for a while!
It's from K&C Company.

Row House - House Warming Gift | 3D Paper Gift Box | SVGCuts

Friends of ours recently moved into their brand new home and thought this would make the perfect little house warming gift! Finally, I had an excuse to make a row house from SVG Cuts Parkside Row SVG Kit! LOVE it!!!

SVG Cuts files,3D,treat box,#SVGCuts,Silhouette Cameo,House Warming Gift,ilovedoingallthingscrafty,

I added a cloud from Bunny Hop SVG Kit to add my sentiment to using print n cut on the Cameo. The banner was simply made by cutting out triangles and stamping a letter on each pennant.

How cool is that all lit up? SO realistic looking!

If you loved my Row House, you are going to love SVG Cuts latest Kit "Mistletoe Manor"

Here is a peek! Amazing right!!! Perfect for Christmas :)

3D Halloween Skull Treat Box/Luminary

Have you all seen Fleurette Blooms latest SVG Kit, Dia De Los Muertos? It is SO cool!
The 3D Skulls, the gorgeous flowers, and the banner... love it all! For those of you that don't know about Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead, this holiday focuses on family and friends gathering to pray for and remember those who have died. While we in North America celebrate Halloween, many other countries throughout the world celebrate this holiday on October 31 and November 1.

So today I want to share with my Halloween version, a 3D Skull Treat Box/Luminary. How cool is that, love how this file could be so versatile!

To the skull I added a few little cute spiders from here. The stitches I added come from the mouth of the one piece Skull Box from here.

Here it is all lit up, the perfect Halloween decoration! This Skull is also perfect for filling up with some Halloween treats and giving it away to your favorite little monster.

Hope you all enjoyed my 3D Halloween Skull Treat Box/Luminary. Maybe even inspired to make your own skulls for Halloween or Dia De Los Muertos!
