Christmas Anemone Cards | The 30 Day Coloring Challenge with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello my friends! 

Today I am back with a set of Christmas Anemone Cards. If you have been following me on Instagram you will know that I have been trying to participate this month in Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Well, today is day 17 and  Honey Bee Stamps is acknowledging the Challenge on the HBS Blog, so make sure you stop by there to be inspired by the design team's creations. 

I began these cards by coloring some of the images from the Winter Anemone Set. They were colored in using Copic Markers (sorry did not keep track of the colors I used). I then cut out the images with the coordinating Winter Anemone dies. For a complete list of supplies see the thumb links below.

For this card, I used one of the Stencils from the Plaid Background set to add glimmer paste to the panel. I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiments from the Fa La La set and die cut the merry with the coordinating die, and for the Christmas one, I used the banner builder dies to create the banner.  I then popped the pieces onto the background panel with foam tape and finished off the center of the flowers with white pen details and glossy accents.

This card below was done the same way but using a different stencil from the Plaid Background set and then used the A2 Scalloped Frames to die cut the panel. I then added the die cut Holly Jolly sentiment on to the panel and stamped out the remainder of the sentiment on the card front.

This final card was done once again with a different stencil from the Plaid Background set and this time I only used the berries and leaves from the Winter Anemone set as a pop of color to the die cut Jingle All the Way sentiment.

Honey Bee Stamps Deerly Loved Release Bee Inspired Week | Winter Anemones

Welcome back to the Honey Bee Stamps BEE Inspired Week for the Deerly Loved Release. Today's card features the gorgeous Winter Anemone stamp set.

To make this card I began by stamping out one of the images from the Winter Anemone stamp set on to some Bristol cardstock with Jucy ink. I then used a Chrome embossing powder to heat set my lines in. Next, I used a few Zig clean color brush markers to watercolor the images in. Once the image was dry I die cut flowers out with the coordinating dies.

The hello banner was made by using one of the wider Banner Builder dies that I had trimmed, and stampeded the "hello" from the Jingle All The Way stamp set too.

For the background, I used one of the Polka Dot Background Stencils to create the sparkly background.  I finished the card by adding glossy accents to the center of the flowers and also by adding pops of Night Sky Nuvo Glitter Drops.
