St. Patty's Nail Polish Treat Bag

No likes getting pinched on St. Patrick's Day! So here is a treat I made for my daughter for that same reason. Hopefully, it will prevent a few tears! Now if for some reason she forgets to wear green at least her nails will keep those little claws away... especially her brothers!

This is a very quick and easy treat bag to make. The file comes from My Scrap Chick. I believe it may have been a freebie from last year. The tag was created with my Silhouette DSE, by welding some hearts together and a rectangle, then creating an offset. For the inside of the tag, I used the print and cut feature of the software and the font I chose was called Ma Sexy. I also added some green glitter glue to give it that extra sparkle and Voila! The perfect pinch-proof package any girl would love to receive!

Thanks for stopping by!

Wedding Invitation turned Wedding Card | DIY

What do you do with wedding invitations after you have been to the wedding? I usually keep them for a while and then like anything else they end up in the recycling bin :(

Well just so happened that we are going to a wedding tomorrow and I completely forgot I didn't have a card yet so I thought well why not use the card stock from the invite. That way it for sure would coordinate with the wedding itself! So easy and simple, it saved me so much time trying to pick papers! I wished I had taken a picture of the invite itself, so you could see the difference, oops next time! Hopefully, the couple won't take offense to me taking their invitation apart, lol!

I used today's freebie from My Scrap Chick - Blooming Mum, and cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo. Isn't it pretty?

I love how it turned out and how quick it came together!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

First Communion Paper Cake Slices | Party Favor Treat Boxes

The First Communion crafting continues... Sunday can't come soon enough!

Here is a paper cake that I have been working on. Each slice will be filled up with goodies and given to our guests as a thank you for celebrating this special day with us.

The recipe...

The file I used for the cake slices comes from My Scrap Chick's Designer Boxes kit. The bow and scalloped circle come from SVG Cuts free designs. And the cross was made with basic shapes from the SCAL library.

Thanks for stopping by... have a great day!
