Love It's Simple Card - Mermaid Marker Background

Happy Monday!

I'm pretty sure most of you have heard of Jane Davenport by now. I have to say that since discovering her products at Michael's I have become a little... OK, maybe a  lot obsessed! I'm in love with her line and really, really want to get her watercolors but they are sold out everywhere... Hopefully they will be stocked soon!

The first product I bought was her mermaid markers, and OMG the color intensity is unreal!
They are so vibrant and gorgeous. Check them out!

The back ground of this card was so simple to make. I had tried to record a process video to show you all how easy it was, but for some reason a part of it didn't record. For all the supplies I used check out the links below.

Basically all I did was flood my watercolor paper with clean water and them just touched the tips of the mermaid markers to the paper. I then gently squeezed the marker and dripped the color onto random areas and then watched the colors blend together. SO simple!

Here is a close up of these colors!

I don't know about you all but, I love the bright colors of the rainbow...  they make my heart happy!
Hope my card has inspired you today.

Thanks for stopping by!

You Octopi my Heart Shaker Cards

So I'm finally getting in the mood for Valentine projects.
Here are my first creations and I'm hoping to have time for a few more yet before Valentines arrives :)

Today I want to share with you a couple of Shaker cards I made featuring Lawn Fawn's Octopi my Heart Stamp set.

How cute are these little Octopi? Or do you say Octopuses?
Either way I think my kids will love them... they are so fun and interactive :)
I Love Shakers!!!

I was inspired by two of my favourite card makers when I created this card. Click HERE and HERE to see who they are and you'll see how they inspired these cards.

Here is a closer look at my cute little underwater critters.
