Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow - Cards

Bet that song is stuck in your head now... hehe!

So today I want to share a couple of fun winter cards I made using one of Fleurette Bloom's latest sets Let It Snow.

For this first card, the stamping was super simple. I used VersaMark ink to randomly stamp the background of my shaker card and heat embossed it using some fine white embossing powder. Then used scribbled some Zig Clean Color inks on clear acetate and smooshed it on the the watercolor paper. Once it was all dry I created this beautiful shaker card with it!

For the second card, I randomly stamped a few images on watercolor paper and then did some messy coloring using my Zig Clean Color real Brushes. I then used some clear Wink of Stella to add sparkle to the skates, mitts and snowflakes (difficult to see on the picture, but in person this card sparkles). I thought it would be fun to make this one a New Years Card, as it reminded me of skating at the park in the New Year!

Check out the links below for a list of the supplies I used. And if you haven't already, check out Fleurette Blooms Winter Bundle Stamps... they are awesome!

The Daily Marker's 30 Day Color Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Seems like forever since my last blog post. Just wanted to let you know I have been crazy busy and yes still managing to squeeze in a few minutes a day to do the 30 Day Color Challenge but doing that has left me with no time to blog :(

If you care to see what I have been up to check out my Instagram link to the right of the page. I've been practising my coloring and have been doing lots and lots of it! I love that this challenge has made me pull out all the pretty stamps that I have been collecting or uhummm hoarding, over the last year ;) and finally getting the chance to play with them.

Here is a summary of my 30 day challenge so far...
and there is still a few days left to join and lots of prizes that are up for grabs!

Thanks for stopping by!

Dia dos Muertos - Sugar Skull Action Wobble Card

Happy Dia dos Muertos!

To celebrate this day, I thought it would be perfect to use the Sugar Skulls Stamp set from Fleurette Bloom's last release. I also used the Happy Birthday stamps from the Happy Days set.

This month I am also going to challenge myself and participate in Kathy Racoosin's, 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Probably will not have 30 blog posts this month, (that would kill me) but I will post whatever I do color on Instagram, so make sure you're following me along over there. For those that want to participate as well, click HERE for all the details!

 How beautiful is this Stamp?
I had so much fun coloring it!

Check out all dimension on the flower, I used some Nuvo crystal drops to do that... hardest part was letting it dry ;) On the eyes and nose I used some glossy accents. For the rest of the supplies I used check out the links below.

Hope you all have a wonderful day, I challenge you all as well to join me on the 30 day coloring challenge. Just think of all those stamps you have bought and have yet to test out...
or that's just me, LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!
