Adding Vinyl to Personalized A Iced Tumbler

Hello!

I just wanted to thank all my new followers and everyone who has visited my blog. I can't believe I've had over 600 hits in a little over a week. It doesn't sound like much but every time the counter goes up my smile gets bigger and bigger! Awwww, I feel so loved.... please keep coming back a send more friends my way... I feel the love :)

So today I'm going to share with you a very quick project. Having a very different name I never am able to find anything personalized. So this afternoon I made myself my own personalized iced tumbler. I bought this cup at the dollar store (yup, for $2 I have my own personalized cup!).

First I chose the font I wanted (Murray Hill Bold) then I cut out the vinyl with my Silhouette Cameo

I then transferred the letters to the glass, making sure that they went on as straight as possible. And there you go a simple and quick project that I already love... the best part is that I will never lose my drinking cup again at work!

Thanks for visiting!
Ilda :)

  1. I love these too and wanted to make some for my beloved clients as gifts, but I can't find any tumblers under $5 a piece. You mentioned you got yours at a dollar store. Would you mind sharing the exact name of the dollar store you got them from? Maybe I'll have one in my area too! :)

  3. I wish I could make this! I want to give these to my bridesmaids. I have 9 of them & I want one for myself but I haven't seen any cheap personalized ones! I don't have vinyl or the thing you used to cut it. :(

    1. Hi Erin! Sorry wish I could help you... maybe you could ask someone at Micheal's to cut them out for you, they should have these cutting machines there! Who knows maybe all you would need is to pay for the supplies. Just a thought! :)

  4. I know this is an older project, but I'm considering doing this as bridesmaid gifts. Have you had any peeling of the lettering as you've washed them? I know they can't go in the dishwasher, but I feel like handwashing should be ok, right...? Thanks for sharing such an easy tutorial!
